A/N: Just wanted to write a cute little Christmas Supercorp story. Takes place in season 3 at Kara's Christmas Party. Instead of drooling over James, Lena is drooling over Kara, the way it should have been lol.
Music blasted through the speakers as Lena watched Kara laugh at something Winn had said. She beamed as she continued to watch her best friend.
"Someone's got it bad," Sam laughed as she walked towards her to pour herself another drink.
"What? No I don't she's my best friend," Lena snapped as she turned to find Kara watching her.
As their eyes met both girls turned away blushing.
"Right then you might want to tell her that, she hasn't stopped talking about you all night," Sam told her as she turned to see Kara casting glances towards the CEO.
"Really?" Lena asked her voice hopeful as she cast a quick glance towards the hero.
"Just go talk to her," Sam encouraged just as Kara walked over.
"Hi," she said shyly as she smiled at Lena.
"Hello," Sam waved as she handed her a drink.
"Thanks," Kara answered as she took a long swig.
"So what's new?" Sam asked causally as she glanced back and forth between the two friends who were smiling at each other.
Lena's eyes narrowed as she glared at Sam who avoided her eyes.
"Oh nothing really just enjoying vacation time," Kara answered oblivious to what was going on.
"Luthor," Alex addressed as she walked towards the women.
"Danvers," Lena shot back confused as Alex threw her arm around her.
"So James has been asking about you," she told her as she looked over to see Kara frown.
"He has?" Lena asked as she glanced towards the reporter to see him smiling at her. He waved as he turned back to his conversation with Winn.
"He likes you," Alex smiled as she and Sam exchanged a look.
Kara looked devastated as she finished off her drink, "excuse me," she mumbled as she walked off.
"Kara," Lena called as she followed.
Alex and Sam high fived as they went to rejoin the party.
"Kara wait!" Lena called as she ran after her best friend.
"Sorry I just needed some air,' Kara told her as she stopped outside her building.
Lena wrapped her arms around her as a light snow began to fall.
"Are you cold? We can go inside," Kara told her as she took her hand.
Lena gasped at how warm she felt and how right it felt to have the hero with her right now in this moment.
"Lena are you okay?" Kara asked as she moved her hand to her shoulder.
"I'm going to ask you something and I want you to be honest please," Lena begged.
"Of course," Kara replied.
"Do you have feelings for me?"
Kara blushed before answering, "Yes."
"Wow," Lena mumbled.
"I'm sorry, I tried to make them go away," Kara began to cry thinking Lena was rejecting her.
"Why are you sorry?" Lena asked confused as she cupped Kara's cheeks as she wiped away the tears.
"Well I know I'm not James or anyone special really," Kara rambled on, she only stopped when Lena pulled her into a kiss.
"Wow," Kara whispered against her lips as she pulled away.
"You're hands down the most amazing person I have met, I've waited two years to do that," Lena told her as she leaned her forehead against Kara's.
"Really?" Kara beamed as she wrapped her arms around Lena as she pulled her closer.
"Kara kiss me," Lena whispered as the snow continued to fall.
Kara smiled as she pulled Lena into a passionate kiss as the snow swirled around them.
Alex and Sam watched with a smile as they grabbed each other's hand as they walked back upstairs.
