It was a hot summer evening at Camp Half Blood and I was about to do something that would change my life.
So there I was on the beach waiting for my girlfriend Annabeth. I was so nervous I could barely stand.
I held a little blue box with the ring inside, which my Dad had made in the Cyclopes Forges, waiting and waiting.
"Hey Seaweed Brain." I heard behind me. I turned and saw her, standing in a beautiful red blouse.
"Hey Annabeth I need to talk to you" I said, trying not to stutter.
"What is it?" she asked in a nice soothing voice.
"I was wondering if you would like to go for a little swim."
"Okay" she said with curiously.
Together we sunk down to the depths of the sea in the air bubble I always make for us.
When we got to the bottom Annabeth finally asked "So what's the occasion?"
Then I knew this was the time to do it.
So I got on one knee and asked the big question, "Annabeth Chase, will you marry me?"
I could see her gray eyes start to tear up I didn't know what she was going to say.
"Yes yes Percy I will." Then we kissed for the longest time.
"I love you Seaweed Brain."
"I love you too Wise Girl."
