Anyway
I ran, never stopping
To the mirrored studio
To save my mother
I knew it would hurt him
But I did it anyway
I rode the motorcycle
Through the winding paths
Just to break my promise
I knew it would hurt him
But I did it anyway
I jumped off the cliff
Towards the raging sea
To hear his velvet voice
I knew it would hurt him
But I did it anyway
I loved him always
And forever
But he would leave me
To save me
I knew it would hurt him
It hurt me
But it happened anyway
