All belongs to the Master: Tolkien.
My Golden Love
My love for you is wider than the Sea
Deeper than the abyss
Higher than the firmament
And more piercing than the eyes of Manwë
When the starlight is caught
In your long golden tresses
A smile comes to my lips
And joy stirs my emotions
When I watch you dance in cool glades
With the moonlight gleaming on your body
My heart pounds wildly
And my breath is taken
When you walk slowly down worn stone steps
Tears of sorrow and regret falling
I ache for you
Your pain is mine
But when the sweet wind
Blows through the dark trees
And the mountains rise up before me
I close my eyes
In my heart I realize that I do not have
The strength to leave this land yet
In which I have dwelt for
Millennia upon millennia
But we have the life of the Eldar
And my heart will not always be torn
One day we will meet again
But for now, look to the horizon
