Jackson and Greta are my original characters, but I don't own CSI.

Happy Birthday Elisabeth Harnois!

I thought it would be cool for another birthday story with Morgan. I wondered how Jackson and Greg would celebrate Morgan's birthday since they have baby Greta. So here's what I came up with. Hope you enjoy...and please review!

Doubles had become much longer since Greg and Morgan had two children. After closing a case, Morgan just wanted to go home and hug her son and daughter.

As she and Greg came in the door, Jackson shouted "Surprise!"

Morgan smiled when she saw her CSI family with her children. Greg kissed her cheek and whispered, "Happy birthday!"

Jackson rushed up and hugged Morgan. "Happy birthday!"

Greg took Greta from Judy and hugged his family. "I love you."

"Love you," Morgan and Jackson said. Greta smiled at her mother.

Jackson smiled as Greta eyed the birthday cake. "Greta, you gotta have teeth before you can have cake!" When Greta fussed softly, Jackson rubbed her back. "You'll have some for your birthday. Don't worry."

"Yeah," Morgan said. She loved how protective Jackson was of his sister.

Greg kissed Jackson's head. "I think you and your mom need some cake."

"Yeah!" Jackson happily said. "It's chocolate!"

"It is?" Morgan asked with a smile.

"Yes! And you need the first piece!" Jackson pulled Morgan to the table. She smiled when she saw the cake and presents.

After everyone got some cake, Jackson gave Morgan a wrapped gift. "Mama, will you open my present first?"

Morgan set her fork on her plate and took the gift. "What is this?" She looked at Greta sitting in Greg's lap. "Do you know what your brother got me?" Greta cooed softly. Morgan unwrapped the gift and smiled when she saw Jackson's framed drawing. "Oh, sweetie, this is beautiful!"

"Look," Jackson said as he pointed to the figures he'd drawn. "That's me and Daddy! And Scruffy too! And there's Greta! She likes to have Scruffy under her crib when she takes a nap!"

Greg smiled warmly. "And Jacks helped her sign it."

"Yeah! See the little pink print there?" Jackson pointed to the little pink fingerprints at the bottom of the paper. "Greta signed it right there! I told her it's your birthday, so she could sign it and it can be from both of us!" Greta looked at her brother and said "aah!"

Morgan smiled lovingly at their artwork. "Sweet pea, this is beautiful. I think it's one of the most beautiful things you've ever drawn for me." She hugged her smiling son.

"That's beautiful, Jacks," Greg said.

"Thank you," Jackson said with a smile. "I told Greta this is important, so she could help!" Greta smiled at her brother.

Morgan smiled warmly at her family. "Well, this is one of the best birthday gifts I have ever gotten. And I'm going to put this on my nightstand so I can see it every day and think about what wonderful children I have." She winked at Jackson. "And your daddy's pretty cool, too."

Greg laughed softly as Jackson giggled.

Greta smiled and, before Greg could stop her, plopped her fingers in the frosting on Morgan's plate. Greta gazed at her fingers and her brother laughed. "Greta, that's mama's cake!"

Greg and Morgan laughed. "She wanted some cake," Greg said as he cleaned Greta's fingers with his napkin. Greta waved her hand and frosting landed on Jackson's arm. "Greta, I already had some!" Jackson said with a laugh. Greta smiled widely at her brother.

Morgan smiled lovingly at her family. Seeing Greta and Jackson so happy and knowing they and Greg loved her made her feel truly blessed.

Just then, Greta gave out a soft laugh. Jackson tickled Greta's tummy as their parents smiled.

"Can you say 'happy birthday'?" Jackson asked his sister.

Morgan laid her head on Greg's shoulder and both of them smiled. "I think this is a great birthday," Morgan said.

The End
