Motherless is the way I had grown up
And I did all I could to try and catch-up.
But you are the one who abandoned me
And I had to be the one to toughen up.
I had to take care of you, you see
instead of you taking care of me.
You were supposed to be my protector
and did everything so that no one else could be.
Now my life has just begun
I've married and have a couple of children
I have almost forgiven you for everything
but it will take you a long time to be forgiven.
