"So we are doing this right?" Reggie sighed.

"We have to this." Nick stressed out. "You know this Mantle." He sneered over at the other teen. "This is what you signed up for when you started to work for Lodge."

Reggie shook his head. "I can't do this to Archie. He and I may not be as close to one another like when we were little … but I still respect him." He held up his hand. "I can't do this to a friend."

Nick's lips lifted. "Your loss Mantle. But know that your turn will happen. Not today … not tomorrow … not next week … not next month … not next year. But when you think that you are forgotten then that's when your time will come." He turned and left the barn.

Reggie swallowed.
