China woke up this morning uncharacteristically depressed even though today was a special day. Today was his birthday, but each year he had to spend it alone with a bunch of Hello Kitty dolls. He trudged through his house and out the door. Well, maybe this year will be different, he thought. Probably not. As he walked down the sidewalk, something caught his eye. There was a note taped to a pole. China pulled it off and saw a map drawn on it.

"Is this a map to somewhere?" he wondered. "Maybe I should forget about it….or not."

So China went off on his little adventure, collecting various notes which was reminding him of Slenderman. However, this game was going on for hours.

"Aiyaa, this is taking forever!" he shouted. "That's it, I'm going home."

So the old nation trudged back to his house, which was surprisingly dark. Funny, I thought I left the light on. He flicked the light on and almost had a heart attack. As he flipped the switch, several voices shouted, "Surprise!"

"What is going on in here?" China asked after getting his breathing under control.

"Well, we wanted to throw a surprise party for you this year, da-ze," Korea said.

"Yeah, we knew you are always alone," Taiwan peeped.

"It was mine and Vietnam's idea," Japan replied with a slight blush.

China was taken aback. In his long life, he had never thought he would have the best family any one could ask for, despite their hardships. "You guys…"

Thailand slipped a party hat on his elder's head. "Here ya go! The guest of honor is needed."

So for the rest of the night was celebrated and the Asian family bond grew stronger every minute.
