When Love Turns to Hate
It was late in the camp that the Inuyasha group had set up but no one slept. "DAMN WOMAN WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO DO HOME. IF KIKYO WAS HERE WE WOULD BE DONE ALREADY AND NARAKU WOULD BE GONE" an angry Inuyasha shouted at Kagome. Kagome opened her mouth to shout back when she remembered something… 'DAMN IT WOMAN YOU ARE USELESS! I AM LEAVING YOU AND I'M NOT COMING BACK! TELL THE FUCKING KIDS I DIED OR SOMETHING!' Kagome looked at Inuyasha's face from across the fire and saw her father. "You are just like him" she started with tears in her eyes "I hate you." As she finished her sentence she took off.
The whole camp stood in a shocked silence. "Who was she talking about" Sango asked. A white figure stepped out of the tree line and said "Her father". Everyone looked over at the new comer and relaxed seeing that it was Sesshomaru. Everyone thought about the conversation and the past. They realized that her father was never mentioned. "Lord Sesshomaru how did you know that" Miroku asked. "She is my mate I take an interest in knowing everything about her" he replied.
"That was the first fight mom and Inuyasha have had in a while. He has to hold his tongue now that she is full Inuyouki" a grownup Shippo said. "You forget Inuyasha Naraku was gone but when you wished that everyone who had died in the war came back Naraku was included" Sesshomaru added. Inuyasha bowed his head in shame. "I apologize for running off I was merely overtaken by emotions" Kagome's voice rang through the clearing. She stepped into the light in all her Inuyouki glory. Sesshomaru inclined his head in forgiveness. "What I say stands Inuyasha. You will have to earn my love" she said malice slipping into her voice.
"Love can be earned easily between friends but when hate takes its place you have to work harder to earn that love again" Miroku said. With that everyone but the youki settled down for sleep. "Do you think that will teach him respect" Shippo asked. Sesshomaru nodded and said "He craves the love of my love." Kagome laughed and snuggled into Sesshomaru's arms. "I love you Sesshomaru" Kagome whispered. "And I you" Sesshomaru breathed out.
