I was looking out the window of the shuttle we were taking to my home planet of Coshanda. The stars were shining bright than I'd remembered them as a little girl, and I grew more and more excited with every passing minute to see my beloved friends and family on my planet. Everyday I longed to see my family, but we had no transportation for my earth family as well and I refused to go if they couldn't.
My earth family consists of four mutant turtles as my brothers and one mutant rat as our father. We have one friend who we are so close to that we consider him to be family, his name is Cody. He was the one who suggested we should all go to Coshanda to meet my family there. I don't think that the others wanted to go but they have this odd code of honour that they always follow, and they would follow it even to their deaths. And somehow they felt that it would be dishonouring to me if they refused to meet my family, which I couldn't care less if they said yes or not.
So anyway, we went my home planet, Coshanda, for the Sacred Festival of Amour which usually lasted my and week or two. The Sacred Festival of Amour is the most important festival we have EVER had. I mean, it's more important to us than Christmas would be to the Earth people. This festival was a BIG deal this year, because I was supposed to take part this time, it was my FIRST time. You see no one is allowed to take part until; they are fourteen years of age, and I had just reached my fourteenth year, so I was very excited. I was not about to let them mess this up for me OR embarrass me.
When we got there one of the most familiar faces ever came to me. It was Guunda, my adoptive father from my home planet. He is a giant green frog that, in general, like to spend most of his time floating around on a cloud he made a while back.

"Oh, Kiana! It's so wonderful to see you!" he said jumping off of his cloud to give me a hug. "And I see you've brought friends! How wonderful this Sacred Festival of Amour will be!" he said hopping back onto his cloud.
They better not embarrass me, I thought. I mean, come on! I've been working at this my WHOLE life! If they mess this up I'd have to NEVER forgive them.
"Um, daddy, they don't know who you are. They've never been here before, and they only know Willow and I..."

"Oh, well that's okay. I can tell them right now. My name is Guunda. I am Kiana's adoptive father. She has many siblings on this planet. And, jut what might your names be?" Guunda said gesturing to the turtles. They didn't seem to be paying any attention. I'll get them back for that, embarrassing me in front of my father like that. Oh!
Donny went ahead and introduced everyone to Guunda. This surprised me that Donny would do that, I mean, come on. He seems like the more shy one, I thought Leo would be the first one to volunteer information. But, then again, Guunda always has a way of making you comfortable even when you thought you were gonna puke, and it always came naturally to him.

So after we did that we walked up the trail, talking as we did. You know, attempting to explain what we doing here and stuff, but I'll put that in my next chapter of my life.
