I blink my eyes, trying to clear them from the blurriness. I feel like I'm in a big moving car, being slightly shaken here and there, but not moving from where I am. Once I can finally peer around with my dark chocolate eyes, I notice that I am in a train. A very familiar train at that, I just couldn't put my finger on the name of it.
I then notice another girl slumped over in front of me. She has short and lighter brown hair than me, and glasses that are close to slipping off.
A big bump shakes the other girl awake, and startles me also. The girl starts whipping her head around, and peering at me for a second with green eyes.
I recognise her instantly. "Ashton!"
She blinks once than suddenly has a huge grin. "Oh hello"
"How in the hell did we end up on a train? Also why?" I asked myself more than to her, while looking around with a clear mind.
I notice cases galore and scratching and squeaking makes me notice a dark horned owl right next to me. It's my turn to grin widely and stare at the owl with adoration and wonder how it got there.
"Ooh! An owl!" Is all that Ashton comments on it.
A meow rings through the car of the train and we both glance down at the ground to see a Abyssinian cat.
I grin slightly at it, I love all animals, which includes insects. From the smallest ant to the largest whale, I love them all. I also love all plants, I actually feel a bit bad when I walk on top of grass, but not nearly as bad as when I see road kill.
The cat hops into Ashton's lap and automatically starts purring.
With being too curious of our surroundings we didn't even think about anything bad about being on a train without remembering anything. That is until a familiar girl with big bushy red hair with buck teeth opens the door, glances around and suddenly asks,
"Have any of you seen a toad? A boy named Nevils' lost one."
