Vyse?
Vyse didn't know how he was going to tell her, how could he. She has been his best friend since well forever. How would she take it, I mean I'm going to be gone for over a year. Would Aika take it badly…..how would he tell her that they had called him in to help fight with Baltor, besides Vyse owed him for saving his life. So he couldn't refuse.
Vyse got up and walked out of his room and knocked on Aika's door.
"Huh? Uh come in." Aika answered slowly and quietly making sure not to wake up Fina or the crew.
Vyse walked in "Aika I need to talk to you." Vyse said in a whisper.
"Yeah sure what's up?" Aika asked not sure of what he was going to say next.
"Baltor he, he called and said that I needed to come and help him fight Valua, he said to come alone since their ships would be full, and I'm not gonna be back for over a year." Vyse said looking down.
"What? Oh! Well uh that's fine heh I…I'm gonna miss you heh ummm when are you gonna be going?" Aika asked.
"Tomorrow…." Vyse said.
"Oh ummm I'll see you at the dock then….good-bye Vyse." Aika hugged him she didn't let go for another 2 minutes.
"Good, Good bye Aika." Vyse said sadly.
Vyse let go of his best friend.
"See you tomorrow…….Aika." Vyse said.
"Bye." Aika waved silently.
Vyse walked out of the room. Then into his room.
Vyse lied down, and then soon fell asleep.
The next day
Vyse woke up took his bags and walked out to the docks.
He stopped and waited, then Aika came up behind him.
"So… no more late night talks after this or at least for a year." Aika said as she sat down.
"Hey I promise it will fly by." Vyse said as he sat down next to his best friend.
Then suddenly a ship docked in front of me and Aika.
Then the whole crew walked up.
"Well this is it I guess not for another year maybe more." Vyse said as he helped Aika up and pulled her into a hug.
"Good bye." Aika said.
"Bye." Vyse said as he let go of her.
He waved to the rest of the crew and walked on board.
Aika looked up to the ship and a tear slid down her cheek.
"It's all right Aika he'll be back soon." Fina hugged her friend.
2 years later
"I can't take this anymore! Nothing is right when you're gone Vyse…. Please come home.
The next day
Aika looked out at the sky at the sunset.
Then she saw a huge ship about to sail in.
She stood up…..
"Vyse?!!!!!!" Aika yelled.
Vyse ran out of the ship and dropped his bags then ran up to Aika and picked her up and hugged her. Then what really surprised Aika was what he did next.
He set her down and kissed her. "I will never leave you again." Vyse said as he smiled at her.
Aika laughed "Please don't"
