Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural, otherwise Gabriel would be in more episodes :) I also don't own the AC/DC song.

AN: This is the second installment of my vocab assignment oneshots for my English class. I know its just a oneshot, but I'd love some reviews. Reviewers get pie!

Back in Black

The driver of the black Chevy Impala hummed happily along to the AC/DC song playing on the radio. His brother glanced critically at him from the passenger's seat and commented, "You're happy."

"Why shouldn't I be? My baby is all fixed up and purring just right. She exemplifies America's finest right along with apple pie," the driver stated firmly. "Hm… we need to grab some, by the way."

The younger brother rolled his eyes, "Honestly Dean, I sometimes think that you're in a relationship with this car."

Dean leaned forward and rubbed his hand soothingly against the dashboard and cajoled, "Don't listen to Sammy, baby. He's just jealous of our relationship."

Sam shook his head as his brother's actions affirmed his claim. "See! You just corroborated what I said. You act the same way with your pie too."

"Hey!" Dean interjected, "Just because you went to Stanford doesn't mean that you get to use big words. I need to dispel the rumors that my brother's a geek." Dean glanced away from the road and scrutinized Sam for a moment before he turned his gaze back to the blacktop, "Never mind, anyone can see the nerdiness from a mile away."

"And this nerdiness has saved you from endless research how many times?" Sam asked innocently.

Dean grumbled something incoherent, but brightened when he remembered something, "True, but I'm not the one that freaked out when he saw a clown a few days ago."

Sam sighed as Dean smirked triumphantly, "Clowns are creepy! Besides, we proved that it was a killer clown anyway."

"The rest of them at the carnival weren't killers though," Dean pointed out.

"We knew that a clown was killing parents. We had a carnival full of clowns. One of them was a killer," Sam recapitulated. "I had a perfectly good reason to be cautious around the clowns."

"Cautious sure, but not terrified," Dean retorted. He chuckled when his brother turned grumpily to stare out the window. "It's good to be back," he thought as the black Impala purred along the highway towards the brothers' next destination.

Back in black

I hit the sack

I've been too long

I'm glad to be back

Yes I am
