"An Older Love" part 3 Georgie

When Lucy got home, she just waltzed up into her room without saying a word to anyone, not even when Simon asked her how her rehearsals went.
" Why am I so nervous about this?" she asked herself. " It's not like anything that big happened, it was a part of a play……but I know I felt something more from him!"
" Hey Lucy, how was your first day of rehearsals?"
" Oh, hey Matt, I guess it was fine." Lucy said, trying to hide her anxiety."
" Oh yeah, well having Brad as your Romeo, I'll get him to look out for you."
" I don't think you want him to do that." Lucy said to herself.
" Well maybe I will come to your next rehearsal to sort of cheer you and Brad on." He said to her.
After a painfully long school day on this Wednesday in March, Lucy and Matt were on their way to the community center. She was so nervous about seeing Matt and Brad in the same room even though they were friends. What if they had to rehearse the kiss again? What if they got into the moment like they did two days before? She didn't even want to think about what Matt would do if he saw the passion between them.
Then rehearsals began, and there was no stopping them. Fist they started out when they were at the party at the beginning. Then they went onto the death scene.
It was weird though. Today they didn't rehearse the kissing scene.
"Whoa, what a relief!" Lucy mumbled to herself.
After the practice was over, all the cast members were sent to the dressing rooms to see if they would suit their needs.
" They sure are spoiling us!" Brad said jokingly, sneeking up behind Lucy.
" Oh yeah…..you'd think we were on Broadway." Lucy replied sarcastically.
They both just burst out laughing probably because they were both nervous. Then all of a sudden, Brad was kissing her. At first, it took Lucy by surprise, but then she just closed her eyes and enjoyed the first real kiss they shared. She felt her heart starting to beat faster and her palms got sweaty. Brad moved from her soft lips to her neck, where he caressed it softly with the tip of his lip. They didn't realize it at first, but everything that was going on lasted not less than five minutes, and all of a sudden Lucy heard Matt's voice calling her name. She pulled away from Brad, not really wanting to let him go. She always felt so safe when she was with him, but she new it was time to go. After they both gained composure, they left the dressing rooms and went onto the stage where they found Matt waiting for them. Most of the cast had already left.
" Where have you been Luce? I was getting really bored. Even the director has left!"
"Oh, it's my fault Matt. I started cracking jokes about how crappy the dressing rooms are that we lost track of time" Brad slyly winked at Lucy.
"Oh well, anyways, it's past dinner time so we gotta go. I'll see ya tomorrow in chemistry." Matt said to Brad, and they were off heading towards the car.
" So," Matt said, "are you happy you signed u for this play?"
Lucy just laughed…." Ya Matt, I am… I really am."
Uh oh!! I'm not done yet1 I still have a lot of I deas for this story, but it takes a while to get them all out… so please bear with me and DON'T GET BORED WITH IT!!! lol see ya J
