AN: Hello dear readers! I just finished the No.6 anime and LOVED it. My two friends who also recently finished watching it also. They requested a fanfiction from me and they got a fanfiction. On another note, my zemyx fanfic 666 is put on hold. I will spend more time on it during winter break but for now I'm really busy with cosplay and school and etc. But that's a whole different topic. ON TO THE FANFIC!

DISCLAIMER: If I owned No.6 there would've been lot's more yaoi moments in the anime.

I opened my eyes and looked over at the couch. It was an instinct of mine. Always hoping Shion will be sleeping on that couch like he used to. But he won't. It's been three months since the wall guarding the city had fallen. Each day passes slower then the last.

I rolled over. My heart ached. Why did I feel this way about him? I laughed to myself. Shion, the guy who couldn't even fend for himself, was still making me feel like this after ages. I was a complete wreck because of the fool.

The next day I went to Dogkeeper's. "Looking for the usual Nezumi?" She asked with a smirk on her face. I narrowed my eyes and tossed her a coin. "How is he doing?" She caught the money but kept talking. "Honestly, instead of stalking him you should just go see him, he-""JUST TELL ME HOW HE'S DOING" I snapped at her, losing my patience.

Dogkeeper flinched but got to the point. "Well he's getting over that Safu girl's death. He's begun looking for a job. He smiles around people but frowns when he thinks no one is looking." I nodded and then walked out. Every week I went to Dogkeeper's to gather Intel on Shion and how he was holding up. At least he isn't crying over everything anymore, I thought.

I was lucky enough to still have enough money to support myself by working at the theatre. I could lose myself in a script as I could lose myself in Shion. His home was in No.6, He belonged there and I didn't. I was torn between wanting him to forget me and make life easier, or wanting him to think only of me as I thought of him.

Dogkeeper was right though. I should go to see him, or make contact of some kind. But what would I say or do? How would he react? I decided to send a message via Moonlit.

Dear Shion, it read. How's it going? Sorry you haven't heard from me in ages. I've been keeping myself busy. I'm sure you've been doing the same. It's a bit lonely here without you here. Miss you. Sincerely, Nezumi.

A few days later I got a response. Though it wasn't what I was expecting. After coming home from the theatre I found Shion sleeping on the bed in my house. "Sh-Shion" I stuttered out. I carefully laid down beside him. I watched his eyelids flutter in his sleep and his chest rise and fall silently as he slept soundly.

I brushed a strand of hair out of his face. He was back and still as beautiful as ever. I wondered what he was dreaming about. The romantic part of me buried deep down inside wished for it to be about me. Gradually and without meaning to, I fell asleep beside the one I loved.
