A/N: This is my poem...you steal, you die.
Light of the sun
By: DB
You nudged me
I nudged you in return
We both rolled our eyes
Keeping the secret we earned
You pushed me
I pushed you back
We both smiled
And we both laughed
You leaned on me
And I leaned against you
We both braced the storm
And in, our own rights, made it through
You reached out
I couldn't take your hand
There were forces acting on me
That I didn't understand
You sank to the shadows
I rose into the light
Yet we both kept searching
For each other's might
You hurt me
I hurt you too
We fought over the things
We both wanted to do
You forgot it all
I forgot it all as well
We were both caught
In another's spell
You broke free
As I awakened
But stunned we were
And oh so shaken
You reached out
And again I faltered
Time rebuilt itself
But still seemed so altered
You sacrificed yourself
I watched in despair
You waved goodbye…
And told me to take care
You are lost again
I want to be the one
The one to reach out
And return you to the sun
