Samantha yawned, opened her eyes slowly and looked around the room to discover her companion getting dressed. "Morning, birthday girl." She laughed.

Janet turned at the sound of her voice smiling. "Did I wake you?"

Sam shook her head. "Why aren't you still in bed? I haven't given you my present yet."

"If we don't get up now, we'll be. I don't want to be late to my own birthday party." Janet pointed to the clock.
Cocking an eyebrow, Sam wrapped her arms around her lover, dragging her back to bed. "Well, I guess I can be a little late."
