UA. A hero school, supposedly like no other, was filled with a sense of life that few other places could contend; the enormous amount of refined life energy - power - that could be seen from miles away, shooting into the sky in a spiraling pillar of multicolored energy, even from a distance, let the man who was watching know that the school was still a pillar of hope and justice. Still a breeding ground for future generations of heros to grow and learn, before taking to the streets and becoming the hands of light, and fighting back the growing shadows of evil. And yet…

The watcher grimaced from his outlook, drawing back into the shade of the water tower and pressing his back against the cool white metal for support.

Naive… The lot of them. I can't believe I'm doing this.

The watchers dark olive eyes, whose unique white pupil trained on the school in the distance, glowed dimly in the shadows with a dull, ethereal light- distaste crept over the young man's features, emotion dancing just under the well trained scowl.

I have to say, it's kinda weird to see UA like this. All… Not a pile of rubble, and stuff.

His eyebrows furrowed.

She sent me too far. From what I see…

The young man's star like eyes glowed brighter, flicking left to right as he scanned the energy signatures in the distance, searching for a familiar, bright emerald glow, which stood out from the rest with it's radiance.

He's still is high school. Aunt Eri was only supposed to send me back to when he was looking for a successor… She overshot…

The young man, clad in a black and green hoodie, which was too big for him - even as muscular as he was - charcoal cargo shorts, and a black cap, pushed himself from his position against the tower. He moved towards the ledge, bouncing up onto the railing with ease, and dropped calmly down onto the roof below - he seemed to float above the surface of the building for a moment, like the falling petal of a sakura tree, before the soles of his feet planted gently upon the cement. Another meager bound, and he was drifting into the narrow alleyway below.

Like a shadow, he bled into the populace, traversing the streets unnoticed, and began making his way back to the warehouse he had made his home.

This changes things. I'm gonna have to improvise…

An annoyed look crossed his features.

Fuckin Eri. Love ya to death aunty, but you kinda fucked this one up. 5 years, that was the plan! But noooo, lets send Toshinori back a whopping 22! The hell!

The now named Toshinori gave an exasperated sigh, tucking a stray strand of dark green hair back under the ball cap on his head as he came to an intersection, joining a crowd of waiting pedestrians.

I don't know what I was expecting, considering how shit my luck is. In the end it doesn't matter much, the outcome should be the same, just makes things more difficult is all.

A small, sarcastic smile crossed the boys features.

After all, how am I supposed to get that dumbass father of mine to listen to me, much less meet him? Just go up to him and be all, "Heya, I'm Toshinori, your unborn, time traveling son, nice to meet ya! And boy oh boy, do I have some great fuckin life advice for you!"

The smile grew.

That dunces reaction might just be worth the consequences.

A smile on his face, Toshinori crossed the street at the beep of the machine, stopping on the other side to look back towards the towering visage of UA in the distance.

If only. However, I got more important things to do, so the satisfaction will have to wait.

His olive eyes glimmering in nostalgia, Toshinori turned and walked away, determination set in his form.

I'm gonna fix all your mistakes, father, Izuku, you useless fool. I'll save everyone, no matter the cost.

Shadows and blood dancing in his bones, Toshinori Midoriya sauntered away from the hero school, commitment and murder in his eyes.

No matter the cost.

Heya! So I've had the idea for this story floating around in my head for a while, and I just found the time to write this little prototype, so I figured I'd put it out there, see what people thought about it. If any of yall like it, tell me, and I just might continue. Or maybe I will anyway, since I like the idea and need the practice :).

Anyway I think it's pretty self explanatory what it's about so I won't go into it, but I have a whole bunch of ideas for Toshinori's character, and the future that he's coming from, so get ready for a ride!

All the love in the world,

Erebus
