Earth Angel Relena Sighed as she placed her signicher upon the document. 'Finally' she thought 'after three long years the remaining forests will be safe.'
"What will that document achieve, Relena?" Heero asked. " The Earths Sphere United Nations Forestry (or ESUNF) will still have problems. You can't possibly save it all."
Relena sighed again. Heeros question was not uncommon. Some people thought that she was pushing the wrong areas of conservation. That her ideals were ludicrous and unstable. But Relena strongly believed in what she was doing and if it were the last thing she ever did she would protect earth.
"Come with me." She said and walked out the door. Heero fallowed her if for nothing else then to protect her, as it was his job to do so. They walked out of Proventers HQ thru the back doors. Outside they walked until they came to the edge of the compound at witch Relena walked right past. Suddenly thy were no longer in the gardened area of the world but in a living forest, untouched by any gardeners hand. The songs of wiled birds that Heero had never seen before floated on the wisps of wind allowed by the ancient trees.
"Look around you Heero. Tell me what you see. Tell me what you rely see."
Heero did look. He took a long look at the ancient trees, the plants and animal, and even the insects. He saw the stream and the rocks. He felt the wind and the leaves. He saw all that was dead and all that was living. He could almost feel the sole of the earth in what was once not such a rare thing. It was at that instant that Heero fully understood why people fought so hard to protect the wanderers place.
"Once long ago places like this could be found all over earth. But that is so no longer. Fire, pollution, and other man made things have cased these wonderers places to swiftly disappear. Even war has taken its toile hear. People once cut these enchanted trees dawn for wood, uncaring about what it did to the environment. Erosion cased the streams to die killing off most life within the forests. New many of earth's crechirs are extinct. Their never coming back and all because the foolishness of humanity! Knowing this, Heero, do you think what I am striving for is insane? We must protect the remaining forests and their inhabitants before they are gone forever! Heero looked into Relenas oscine blue eyes. He could practically see the earth's love reflected in them. A smile graced his face and then he responded." I understand why they call u Earth Anger, Relena. Earth rely is reflected within your eyes."
