Natsuki and Shizuru's Vacation

Natsuki and Shizuru spend a week on a vaction together. However, Natsuki keeps getting reminders of one of her enemies.

Note: Mai-Hime is an anime that was done by the studio Sunrise. All of the main characters are from the show, except for Gonna Getcha, who was created by me.

Natsuki Kuga and Shizuru Fujino had a close, emotional bond, but they could only see each other at certain times. Shizuru had a job and Natsuki had the responsibility of saving the city from various villains. Shizuru had been wanting to go on a vacation with Natsuki for a countlessly long amount of time. Natsuki finally agreed to it and she and Shizuru couldn't be more excited to spend a whole week together. Natsuki paid for her ticket, but Shizuru took care of all of the other vacation details. She assured Natsuki that she knew how to plan everything for the vacation.

Natsuki started packing her stuff. She had a suitcase for her clothes and a small bag for stuff to read. Natsuki's mom walked in and said, "Hi Natsuki. Are you looking forward to spending the week with Shizuru?"

Natsuki tried to look dignified while saying, "It is an event that I have positive feelings for."

The mom replied, "Talk high class all you want, but I know you're thrilled."

Natsuki blushed and said, "I guess I am."

Natsuki's dad walked in and asked, "How much money did you waste on the plane ticket?"

Natsuki sighed and asked, "Does it matter?"

The dad said, "Saving money on plane tickets is more important than any vacations." Natsuki and her mom stared at the dad. The dad said, "Saving money is a hopeless effort for people like you."

The next day Shizuru arrived at Natsuki's house and knocked on the door. Natsuki opened the door and said, "Hi Shizuru."

Shizuru replied, "Hi honey."

Natsuki said, "I'm glad to see you, but I told you that I would go to your house and pick you up."

Shizuru smiled and replied, "I'm sorry, but I couldn't wait."

Natsuki blushed and said, "Aww, you're the sweetest thing."

Shizuru replied, "Actually, you're the princess of sweetness."

Shizuru was about to kiss Natsuki, but Natsuki gently stopped her and said, "Lets wait, until I leave my parents."

Shizuru replied, "Oh come on. They probably kiss in front of you all the time."

Natsuki said, "Actually my dad usually kisses dollar bills in front of me."

The dad walked by and replied, "I sure do and I have a perfectly good reason for doing so." Natsuki and Shizuru glared at the dad, because they were both confused. The dad said, "It's a reminder, to Natsuki, to not waste money." He kissed a dollar bill and walked away.

Shizuru faced Natsuki and asked, "Do you think that this would be a good time to leave?"

Natsuki jokingly said, "Unless you want to see my dad hug a wallet."

Natsuki and Shizuru walked outside. Natsuki said, "Lets take my car."

Shizuru replied, "I think we should take my car."

Natsuki shrugged her shoulders and said, "Maybe we should ride in separate cars."

Shizuru replied, "Sweetheart, this vacation is about spending time together."

Natsuki said, "Okay, I think whichever one of us has the most gasoline left should drive."

Shizuru replied, "Fair enough." Natsuki looked at her. It had seven gallons left. Shizuru looked at her car and saw that it only had half a gallon left. The two girls got in Natsuki's car and started heading to the airport.

A half hour later Natsuki and Shizuru got onto the airplane. They looked around and saw that it was a very big plane that had a few hundred people aboard. Shizuru said, "This is a nice plane."

A snooty passenger replied, "It's nothing that nice."

Natsuki looked around and saw the passenger. He reminded her of Gonna Getcha, the most bothersome bank robber that she had ever dealt with. She looked at the passenger closer. Although he resembled Gonna Getcha, he was clearly a different person. The passenger was a little weirded out by Natsuki's long stare. Natsuki said, "I'm sorry sir. You remind me of somebody I know."

The passenger replied, "I'm flattered."

Natsuki said, "You wouldn't be flattered if you knew who I was referring to."

Shizuru looked at Natsuki and asked, "What's going on?"

Natsuki said, "That passenger reminded me of Gonna Getcha."

Shizuru hugged Natsuki and replied, "You shouldn't have enemies on the brain. You should be thinking about cute stuff, like you and me." Natsuki smiled at Shizuru and the two of them sat down.

A few hours Natsuki and Shizuru arrived at the destination. However, Shizuru had never informed Natsuki of where they were going on vacation to, so she was confused. Natsuki and Shizuru walked out of the plane and looked around. Natsuki said, "Shizuru, where are we?"

Shizuru replied, "I'm afraid that I didn't want you to ask that."

Natsuki asked, "Why?"

Shizuru answered, "I forgot where we were going. To be honest, I don't even know what country we're in."

Natsuki facepalmed and said, "Shizuru, that's one of the most important details."

Shizuru replied, "I was so excited on going on a vacation with you, so I forgot to focus on anything else."

Natsuki said, "That's adorable, but it's also a big problem."

Shizuru replied, "Don't worry darling. I scheduled hotel reservations for us."

Natsuki asked, "You managed to do that without knowing what country you're in?"

Shizuru said, "Yes I did."

Natsuki asked, "Do you know where the hotel is?"

Shizuru said, "Not exactly, but I there is a way to find out." She tapped a random man on the shoulder and asked, "Do you know where the Takehara hotel is?"

The man turned around and said, "It's across the block. It should be easy for you tourists." Natsuki was horrified to see that the man looked like Gonna Getcha. He had similar looking black hair and a familiar looking mustache. She looked both nervous and stressed out.

Shizuru wrapped her arm around Natsuki and asked, "Are you okay sweetheart?"

Natsuki said, "That man reminds me of Gonna Getcha."

The man replied, "That's an appropriate feeling." Natsuki nervously gulped. The man said, "This is Gonna Getcha's hometown."

Natsuki asked, "What city are we in?"

The man chuckled and said, "If you don't know that, you probably shouldn't be here."

Shizuru had a concerned look on her face while asking, "Are you okay?"

Natsuki said, "Um, yes."

Shizuru replied, "I hope your rivalry with Gonna Getcha doesn't ruin our vacation."

Natsuki said, "I intend on forgetting that nasty bank robber."

Natsuki and Shizuru held hands with each other and walked across the block. They looked around and saw the hotel. They walked inside and saw that it was a moderately big hotel with mildly clean floors and soda spilt across the walls. They checked into their hotel room.

Natsuki said, "It's comforting to finally arrive here."

Shizuru replied, "It sure is."

Natsuki looked at the room. The walls were painted white, but there was plenty of soda on the walls. It looked like a drinkable rainbow. There were two beds that had some blue paint on the covers, a TV that was had was littered with peanut butter, and there were bags of snacks scattered across the floor. Natsuki sarcastically said, "How eloquent."

Shizuru replied, "It's not as clean as I thought it would be."

Natsuki said, "Plus we don't even know what part of the world we're in."

Shizuru replied, "You're probably mad at me and I sure can't blame you for that."

Natsuki didn't want to ruin the vacation, so she said, "What matters isn't where we are, as long as you and me are at the same place."

Shizuru smiled and replied, "I'm so glad to hear that honey bunny." She kissed Natsuki.

Natsuki looked out the window and saw that there was a swimming pool outside. Shizuru asked, "Wanna go for a dip?"

Natsuki said, "Sure, did you bring your swimsuit?"

Shizuru took off her vacation outfit and revealed that she had been wearing her swimsuit the whole time. She said, "I forgot what country our hotel is in, but I remember hearing it had a pool."

Natsuki replied, "Okay then. I just need to change into my swimsuit."

Shizuru said, "Okay."

Natsuki replied, "Excuse me." She went into the bathroom and got changed into her swimsuit. She walked out of the bathroom and said, "Sorry I took longer to get ready. I didn't know you had two outfits on."

Shizuru said, "I was hot on the way here."

Natsuki asked, "You heated it out for an entire plane trip, so you could save the brief moment it would take for you to get your swimsuit on?"

Shizuru thought about it and said, "I suppose I'm not making the best of decisions on this trip. You're the most adorable and powerful of distractions." She looked over and saw Natsuki blushing. She blushed back at her.

Natsuki and Shizuru went outside. Natsuki calmly stepped into the pool and Shizuru jumped in. They swam around for ten minutes. Natsuki saw a swimmer who had similar features to Gonna Getcha, but she ignored him.

After swimming, the two young women walked back to their hotel room. Natsuki grabbed her suitcase and said, "Excuse me."

Shizuru replied, "Okay then."

Natsuki went into the bathroom and opened her suitcase. It was about four thirty in the afternoon. Natsuki figured that she should wear something nice, so she got on a fancy black dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and said, "It's kind of fancy, but this is an eloquent event." She walked back to Shizuru and saw that she was wearing a fancy green dress. Natsuki blushed over how beautiful she looked.

Shizuru confidently smiled and said, "Your powerful blush is the only review I need. Do I look?"

Natsuki got caught up in the moment and replied, "You've never looked more gorgeous." She paused and said, "I'm sorry. That was probably a too hyperbolic thing to say."

Shizuru responded, "It's one of the loveliest things my ears have ever heard darling."

Natsuki asked, "Where are we going?"

Shizuru answered, "I figured that we should go around the city and see if we can find a fancy restaurant."

Natsuki said, "Sounds nice." Natsuki and Shizuru held hands while spending forty five minutes searching for a fancy restaurant. Eventually, they found a place and had dinner together. They had fun flirting and relaxing with each other.

Natsuki and Shizuru went back to their hotel room. Natsuki sat on her bed and turned on the TV. She and Shizuru watched TV for two hours.

Afterwards, Natsuki said, "I guess that we should start getting ready for bed."

Shizuru replied, "I wish we could spend more time together."

Natsuki said, "We have six more days of that stuff."

Shizuru replied, "It's fun sharing a hotel room. I feel like we're living together." Natsuki blushed at the thought of sharing a house with Shizuru. Natsuki went to the bathroom, got changed into a black nightgown, and brushed her teeth. After Natsuki walked out of the bathroom, Shizuru walked in and got ready.

Natsuki laid down on her bed. Only one of her blankets wasn't covered in blue paint, so she put the clean blanket on herself. Shizuru stepped out and said, "Goodnight Natsuki."

Natsuki replied, "Goodnight Shizuru. I love you."

Shizuru gently played with Natsuki's chair and replied, "You're the dearest gift that my heart has ever received." She kissed Natsuki and went into her bed. They both turned off their lamps and closed their eyes.

Natsuki started having a nightmare. In her dream, she was in one of her fighting outfits and was being surrounded by darkness. Gonna Getcha stepped out of the shadows and said, "Hi Natsuki. How are you?"

Natsuki replied, "I was having a nice time."

Gonna Getcha had a smug look on his face while saying, "Forget about that. You may be on vacation, but you're in my town."

Natsuki asked, "What's the town's name?"

Gonna Getcha stuck his hands in the air and said, "Not relevant. I don't just rob banks. I also rob your happiness. I come by to my hometown, a few times a year, and mess the place up. You can thank me for your messy hotel, but I'm going to be responsible for a whole lot more than that. I'm going to defeat and watch your precious girlfriend cry while you suffer my wrath." He did an evil laugh.

Natsuki started making a bunch of chaotic movements in her sleep. Shizuru turned on her lamp and ran up to Natsuki. She saw a few tears on Natsuki's face. She gently rubbed Natsuki's face and said, "Sweetheart, you're having a bad dream. Gonna Getcha's not here and I am."

Natsuki replied, "Shizuru, I'm so sorry. I'm such a coward."

Shizuru responded, "No, you're a brave hero. You've saved thousands of people from Gonna Getcha and the other bad guys. May I give you a hand?"

Natsuki said, "Yes." Shizuru gently carried Natsuki and placed her on her bed. Natsuki asked, "Why did you put me on your bed?"

Shizuru said, "You need someone who can protect you from tonight's bad dreams and we have so few blankets."

Natsuki replied, "Thank you Shizuru." Natsuki and Shizuru shared the few blankets that weren't covered in paint and closed their eyes. Natsuki had much nicer dreams, because Shizuru was close enough to block out her brain's anxiety. Throughout the week, Natsuki's dreams got brighter and brighter and she eventually forgot about Gonna Getcha and remembered that Shizuru was the best treasure her heart had ever found.
