Haruka's POV:
Hello, my name is Haruka Kurochi. I have a twin sibling, Hikari Kurochi. I am a boy, and so is Hikari. We are the "miracle babies", or at least that's what the doctors say. Hikari was born 12 noon, and I was born 12 hours later. My mother died giving birth to us, and soon after, our father killed himself as he was to upset from mother's death.
Hikari and I are currently living in an orphanage, but we are unhappy there. The other kids bullied us, emotionally. They could not beat us up as both of us had "insane strength". When I was 10, I flipped an 18 year old boy over my shoulder. Hikari was once pissed and she punched the wall, making it crack.
Miss Mia, the owner of the orphanage, ordered us around to do the housework. However,she does not order the other children around. Just Hikari and I. Bias, is what I call it. However, my twin thinks that she is just scared of us. I will be glad when we get out of there.
This year is a special year for us. We topped our schools, getting the top scores that anyone has ever got in the school, and got two scholarships. I got the academic and sports scholarship, and Hikari got the academic and music scholarship. Well, Hikari and I did well in both music and sports, just that I wasn't interested in music and Hikari wasn't interested in sports.
In the end, we both got into Ouran Academy.
Hikari's POV:
Hi, my name is Hikari Kurochi. Both my twin brother and I have gotten a scholarship to Ouran Academy. I am so happy! Ouran Academy is a school for both smart AND rich students. We are so lucky to get into Ouran Academy. I just hope the students there don't make fun of us…
In the orphanage, we have been bullied, by both the owner (Miss Mia) and the other orphans. The orphans would call us names. Miss Mia would order us to do housework. Then, for some reason, she starts beating me and my twin. Haruka once broke an arm because of her. It took him a month before it was healed.
In school, we are regarded as "princes". Girls would gather around the tennis club when Haruka was playing or the music room when I was playing. Of course, Haruka didn't only play tennis, he played many other sports. He won 10 gold medals for tennis, 8 gold medals for basketball and badminton, 9 gold medals for soccer, so on. He once stood in for me to play in a violin competition and won. He is good at singing too. But in Ouran, we decided that we are not going join the tennis or music club. We would join something else, pick up more skills…
Well, I've got to sleep, school tomorrow. (But we've no uniforms! T^T)
