An Invitation To All To Attend A Wedding Anniversary Celebration
Ælfstangard and his beautiful wife, Icy, Mistress of the White Ice Dragon Fire, invite one and all to join them in the joyful celebration of their seventh wedding anniversary and of the year's winter solstice.
The celebration shall be held at their ice palace, located between Alfea College and Cloud Tower on the Planet of Alfea, and shall commence after the first stroke of midnight December 20, 2011 until midnight December 21, 2011.
Food, (vegetarian, meat, insect), shall be provided by the hosts as well as a wide variety of drink and other culinary delights. Those who wish to bring additional food and drink to be shared are welcome to do so.
The palace warren has room enough to accommodate 500 dragons and their tack plus a number of lesser beasts of burden. Rooms shall be provided for those who wish to sleep over one night. Please give notice to the hosts of your intentions to stay over when you arrive.
Entertainment shall be provided, however, you all are encouraged to bring your singing voices, dances, musical instruments, acts and stories. Costumes shall be permitted and two with the best costumes shall be crowned by Lady Icy as this year's Snow King and Snow Queen. A sound barrier shall be erected around the palace so all may be as loud and joyous as they wish. And, although all are encouraged to have loud and noisy fun, there shall be zero tolerance for those coming with evil intent, malicious pranks and other suchlike mischief. All offenders shall be made into ice sculpture – no exceptions and no questions asked.
If you have special needs, please make them known by December 17, 2011. The hosts shall do their best, within reason, to accommodate you. There shall also be small gifts of appreciation for any who can come early to help with set-up or stay late to help with clean-up.
