Knuckles was guarding the master emerald wishing he had something better to do with his life when right on que a strange blue box appeared in front of him with the 3 whooshing noises.
"What is a police phone box doing here and how did it just materialize in front of me?" He asked.
Sonic and tails were in the TARDIS and Sonic said "Take a look outside those doors Tails because right outside is angle island."
"Your screwing with me are you? we actually moved?"
"Yes we did take a look outside you will find Knuckles very confused to see a big blue box."
When he opened it he was right he saw Knuckles and he was confused and a bit angry that he came because he and Sonic are friends but they are technically rivals.
"What are you doing here Sonic?" he asked.
"just popping by to say hello and to ask you if maybe you would like to see the universe." said Sonic.
"What in that box? it couldn't fit 3 of us."
"Yes well come take a look."
Knuckles did and he was so surprised he couldn't find any words to describe it.
"Go on say it I love when people say it."
"I-I-Its bigger on the inside."
"Yes it is and its mine its called the TARDIS which stands for time and relative dimension in space it can travel anywhere in time, anywhere in the universe so where do you want to start?" Sonic asked.
"What happened to you?" asked Knuckles
Sonic sighed "Do you know what they said about the earth revolving? When your parents tell you that the earth is spinning and you just can't believe it because everything looks like its standing still? Well I can feel it, the turn of the earth, the ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour. The entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty seven thousand miles an hour. And I can feel it we are falling through space clinging on the skin of this tiny little world. That's who I am." Sonic said.
Tails and Knuckles looked at him in pure astonishment.
Then sonic saw something he thought he would never have to see in all his lives.
"Knuckles turn around and never blink there is something behind you the most evil and feared creature evolution has ever produced. A weeping angel.
"What is a weeping angel?"
"Its a statue well not really a statue well it is one now but not when you blink or turn your back and don't look them in the eye the eyes are not the windows of the soul but the doors beware what may enter there."
"Meaning?"
"How do you get around in those tiny little brains? an angel will get in your head and you will slowly die. Now then why do you think this place is called angel island and not the floating island anymore? how did your race die? answer: angels not chaos chaos was trying to save them but he was too late so now we have to trap the angels in a quantum lock so they never move again and the best way to do that is to make them look at eachother."
and with that they each guided an angel until they where in a circle looking at eachother never to move again.
"You saved our lives back there Sonic so I guess I'll come with you."Said Knucles.
"Brilliant lets go." and off they went.
