This is my newest story, "I Promise". It's in Thalia's POV and is loosely based on the book Liar By Justine Larbastier(I think that's how you spell it.) This is just a prologue.
I was born with inhuman eyes. Ones like an eagle's.
It went away in three days and became normal human ones but that was enough proof for my parents. My mother became alcoholic when she realised my father had been hiding the truth from her. And my father went missing. That started everything: My omissions and lies.
My Father's a liar, and so am I.
I have to stop, though. I really do.
I'll tell my story, and I'll tell it straight.
This time I'll tell you the truth.
I promise.
I know. Short. Like I said, it's a prologue. An introduction. I swear I'll write more tomorrow.
