Some love for Rose and Alice, eh?
Thanks to TheSunBehindTheEclipsedMoon for betaing. No song. I. Own. NOTHING.
While Alice sobbed, and Rosalie paced, Ms. Cope was a mess, while she was trying to explain to the three families that their daughters weren't taken very good care of. A few dozen girls somberly packed trunks and said their goodbyes. The others were forbidden to leave the grounds until all three cases were solved, and they were also forbidden to leave their dorms until the officers' finished gathering evidence.
"What could've happened to her? I knew something would happen, that's why I hid her!" Alice squealed, tears running down her face.
"We WILL find her, Ali! We have to find her! Michael is ready for marriage and what will her parents do if she doesn't marry him? It's a miracle if he even wants her back, since God knows what might've happened to her by now!" Rose ranted, almost to herself, while she paced.
"Don't talk like that!" The pixie girl wailed from the bed. "Poor, poor Bella! What did she do to deserve this?"
"I'm sure it was nothing, Ali. She was the only one here, and whoever did this, they probably have Jessica, and Lauren as well, wanted another victim. Maybe he's sacrificing a virgin? We all know he would've been stupid to pick Jess or Lauren, but he wouldn't know that."
"Rosalie, must you be so utterly morbid?"
The blonde huffed. "I'm being practical! One of us needs to keep their head in this mess! One girl murdered, with another missing, and now probably murdered, and the third has been kidnapped, for God's sake. This is beyond a coincidence."
"I'm not that stupid, thanks." She sighed. "We can't fight like this, Bella needs us, and right now we need her, as much as she needs us!" She sniffed.
"Well is that really something new? Ever since she turned sixteen she's needed us." Rose smirked. "But she is strong. She'll be okay until we can get her help. I know she will. She's stronger than we give her credit for. I don't know about you, but I couldn't handle knowing I'd be married before eighteen."
"No, I couldn't either." The smaller of the two agreed. "But she's just…physically not that strong, and what about being emotionally strong? Can she stay as emotionally strong without her supporters, Rose? I – I couldn't. How will she?"
The little pixie's blue eyes were full of tears as she looked up towards the blonde model. An odd pair they were, but Bella was their medium. They all supported each other, The Three Musketeers, they would call themselves, and now there were only two. Could these two possibly be able to last after this?
"She's Bella, the smart, clever, sarcastic one; you know the one that always has a plan! She can do this; we know she can do this! She won't have to stay strong without us for long."
"How can you be so sure?"
"I just know, Ali. Even if we don't get her back soon…maybe whoever took her will be kind once they get to know her a bit, and no matter what they're doing to her, Bella will have something to say about it. It won't take long for her captor to learn plenty."
"I really hope so. For her sake, I really, really hope so." The small girl sighed, wiping away another tear.
Enjoy.
