True Self

HEY! Its been a long time since I've written a story, so I wanted to do one because I love the feedback and support I get from all my fellow anime lovers if you would like you can check out my other stories that I have done. Although the grammar and punctuation were bad it still is a good story I think. So with that being said! I hope my stories continue to improve, and any advice and tips would be much appreciated. Also if you have any idea of a story you would like me to write, send me a message! So without further ado here is my story!

(This takes place after chapters 416 I suggest not reading if you haven't seen the manga!)

Journal entry # 1

Hey everybody, it's been a long time. It's me, Lucy! I've recently got myself a new journal to write down mine and Natsu journey. Yep! Natsu is back after a harsh and lonely year. But can you believe it! That idiot put FAIRY TAIL in flames on the king's castle! But it was to raise the beacon for fairy tail, so I let it slide. Since then its been about a week and a half. We ran into Wendy and had a fight with some bad guys that had been bothering the guild she is in now, Lamia Scale. Of course we won the battle after all we are all stronger now. Especially Wendy, She has grown older but she is still a child to me, and Carla has learned transformation magic and she can change into a human form! Happy was surprised. We are currently staying in Lamia Scales care for the moment, until we can convince Wendy to join us again. Well that's all for now!

I closed my journal and returned it to its place in my bag, I leaned back in the chair I was sitting and a released a sigh.

"We need to get moving soon or the others will move to a different location."

But knowing Natsu we won't go anywhere until Wendy agrees to come with us, jeez he never changes. Caring for his family even now, going to such lengths just to bring everyone back together. He really is….amazing.

"…ucy…..lucy…..LUCY!"

"Huh? W-what?"

Oh, it's only Natsu…..what's his problem yelling at me like that.

"What is it? Natsu"

"Like I said, how can we get Wendy to join us again? Ughhh screw those Lamia Scale bastards for taking Wendy to the dark side!"

"Natsu, if Wendy doesn't want to come back to Fairy tail there is nothing we can do. We can only accept her choice and let her do what she wants. Wendy isn't the only one who had joined another Guild; we are most likely to run into this situation again."

"B-but…UGHH DAMMIT!"

"…Natsu if we don't leave soon the others will leave the location they are at now."

"Fine, we can leave later today"

'Huh?"

"What.."

"Uhhh, nothing I just wasn't expecting you to give up so easy…"

"Well I have changed over the past year!"

"Hahaha, it seems you have"

It seems I was mistaking; he has changed… just a little bit though. But he still is a kid on the inside no matter how you look at him.

Don't get me wrong, it hurts having to let Wendy go like this. I want her to come with us just as much or maybe even more then Natsu, but I know more then anyone that the feeling of being forced to do something you don't want to do….is one of the worst feelings someone can experience.

And I never want to put anyone through such a pain as that…..

I made my way to the doors of Lamia Scale to say my goodbyes to everyone and wish them happiness; although it is sad to lose someone dear to you I know that they will always live on. Whether that's in your heart or in their own world, at least knowing they are alive and well provide enough joy for me.

"Lucy-san!"

"Ah Wendy, hello"

"Are you and Natsu really leaving already?"

"Yea, we need to gather the others also"

"Lucy, we should get moving"

"Natsu…..yea you're right, well Wendy, Carla I wish you all happiness here. Ok?"

"Thank you, but im no longer staying at Lamia Scale"

…

…..

"EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!"

"S-Since when?" said Natsu and lucy

"Although it's true I won't be joining you guy's, im going to travel to Magnolia and meet up with Levy and Gajeel and Cana, we are going to Start up the Guild and work things out there."

"Wendy"

"This is my choice. Im going to help you guys in my own way!"

"But we need a master to do that!?"

"There is Laxus and Gildarts for that position, im sure we can get a hold of them some how."

"Wendy, you sure have grown haven't you"

"Haha, Of course!"

"Well then, WERE OFF!"

And with that me, Natsu and happy continued or journey. While Wendy started off her own journey. By taking these small steps we are becoming closer and closer to bringing back fairy tail. To bringing back our home!

Natsu and I decided to travel west, by going there we will go to the town that Mira and Lissanna and Elfman were last spotted in.

I don't think they will refuse the idea of bring Fairy Tail back but Over this year people have carved a new path and road for themselves and for us to tell them to go back, some might not want that.

But then there is me, even though I will go back to Fairy Tail. I will still move forward and live each day to the fullest. I will fight all the battles the find their way to me. I will become stronger and overcome my weakness; I will not let others beat me to a pulp no longer. I learned something over this year, something that has changed my life forever.

The truth of my past, the truth about me, and the truth behind my mother's death.
