It's a dark, stormy, day in Equestria. Canterlot buildings are in ruins, and unkempt. The center of Equestria is diserted as are all the rest of the towns, cities and villages. Currently in the Canterlot Castle is the only known Survivor of the Pony Anthro Speices, Princess Shining Sun the frist daughter of Princess Celestia and Prince Sapphire Flame, white skinned with blue hair, twin to the Hero-King, King Solar Blaze, who is like a genderbend of their mother but with white skin, older sister to Starlight a genderbend of their father, and Blazing Sun who has Celestia's hair colors and Sapphire Flame's blue eyes.
Shining Sun is wearing her signature red and pink outfit. Her shirt is a bright red, long sleeve, turtle neck. Shining Sun's pants are bright pink, skinny jeans, and she is wearing red knee high, high heeled boots, with gold zippers along the outside of her legs. Her jewelry is a set of a gold tiara, with red rubies, and pink crystals, a matching gold necklace with matching gold bracelets.
Shining Sun is a pale pink Alicorn just like her mother, her wings are white, with red fading to pink feathers. She is carrying a shot gun and machine gun on her back, pistols on her both her hips and hidden ankle guns. Also on her back she has a bag full of extra ammo, medikits, and other supplies. Shining Sun's long flowing pink and red hair is pulled back in a pony tail and holding it in place are two hidden daggers.
"This should be enough for now, I'll gather more on my search for more survivors", The Princess says to herself which has become common now that her family has been taken over by the sickness that came upon the land a month before. As she recalls, it first started with a friend of hers, Calla Moon, a nurse in Canterlot Castle, got terribly ill as her pearl white skin rotted away painfully with each passing week, her bones begin to show more and more over time soon after her insides began to show and hang out with no cure she died and the night of her burial she emerged and with every bite Calla Moon spread the virus.
Soon after Calla Moon rose from her grave she attacked her Husband Iron Forge, a tanned skinned male in his 50's, a hammer for a weapon, he was a former weapons forger and knight of Canterlot, one of 6 colored knights he was the Purple Knight. The virus did the same to him, through biting the virus takes over quicker the zombie has vampire like teeth that punctures the skin and injects the virus directly in the blood stream.
Shining Sun is making her way out of the castle aware of the castle staff and the civilians are looking for her. Ready with her shot gun she quietly make her way to the gates just then she hears groaning and moaning from behind her, she turns around and the zombies, all with rotted skin, some with their insides hanging out of their stomachs, eye balls hanging out of their eye sockets, some of their skin falling off their bones.
"Damn it!" the princess yells and flys out of gate and into the town with more zombies groaning and wondering the streets. Landing away from the zombies she sighs with relief after looking around, not wanting to kill anyone in hopes of curing them all.
The zombies waited for her around the corner and they ponce her attacking her, snarling, and growling. Shining Sun fights them off with punches, kicks, throwing them off taking her pistols out and hitting them with the handles. The faces she sees are clear to her who they are, her subjects of Canterlot. Unwilling to shot them she fight her way out with scratches and nails embedded in her skin, she makes her way South to Ponyville as she bandages her scratches.
