As gaara sat at his desk finishing the rest of his work he heard little foot steps outside his door.
" Dad! Are you done yet?"
" I will in a moment. Be patient."
" But I wanna show you something I learned to do with the sand!"
" Alright then I'm coming." Gaara sighed the last of the paper work and put it in a folder to keep his desk from looking like his oldest sons room. As he followed him to the training ground to see what Daichi wanted to show him. As they came closer to the field the surrounding sand started piling up in the middle
of the field forming some sort of building. After a few moments the pile of sand became a large sand castle.
" See daddy! I learned to make it for Nami and miko to play in so mommy doesn't have to worry about them and be able to rest!"
" I see... That's very good. I'm impressed." said gaara as he picked his son and carried him back to their home.
" Daddy I can walk! "
" I can tell you have been out here all day training. You need to rest."
" But I can walk you know!"
" Yes... I know that little one."
" Hmphh! Ok dad.. I'm just sayin!"
When Gaara made it back to the house Daichi was fast asleep in his arms. He tucked him in bed, kissed his forehead and turned the lights off. As he walked out the door he turned to look at his little boys peaceful face and smiled at his little miracle as he left to finish his work..
