Luna didn't seem to notice his discomfort over the mess. "I didn't get the stirring charm right," she answered, her tongue poking out and licking traces of icing from around her mouth.
"Luna-"
Without warning, the blonde began to laugh, her wide eyes twinkling. She doubled over, as though her kitchen mishap was the funniest thing in the world. To Luna, it probably was.
Percy opened his mouth to remind her that his parents were due to arrive for dinner in twenty minutes, to suggest that they clean up the mess. Instead, a rich laugh bubbled out of his throat. He couldn't help it. Luna's good mood was contagious, and it was hard not to give in.
Shaking his head, Percy crossed the kitchen, wrapping his arms around the witch's tiny waist. "What am I going to do with you, you mad woman?" he asked, still laughing as he kissed her.
