Just a little drabble that popped into my head when I was watching Terrors. I was like "Huh, I wonder who colored Superboy's hair when he had to go under cover" this is the result of that thought.
"Hold still, I don't want to get this all over the place" Artemis said as she applied peroxide to Conner's hair.
"It burns!" Conner growled.
"Of course it burns silly, you have black hair! If this is going to look half ways decent we are going to have to do this in a few applications" Artemis retorted.
"Whoa what is that smell?" Wally asked as he walked down the hall.
"Peroxide, Supey is going under cover" Robin responded.
"There, ok keep it on until the time goes off" Artemis said as she set the egg time for half an hour.
"It itches" Conner said as folded his arms across his body. Artemis had draped a towel over his shoulders and clipped it in front of his chest. She then proceed to put a clear shower cap over Conner's hair, adding to the already hilarious sight.
"That's a good look for you Supey" Wally said as he munched on some chips.
"I already hate this mission" Conner added with disdain.
The group of teens sat on the couch waiting for the timer to go off indicating Superboy's hair was done.
"Alright kneel down so I can rinse this out" Artemis said as Conner knelt in front of the shower.
"You know Artemis there is enough here in case you need to touch up your roots" Wally chimed in.
"No need Kid Erroneous, it's natural" Artemis replied as she flipped her hair so it hit Wally in the face.
"Ah, soap in my eyes!" Conner exclaimed.
"Why are you being such a baby?" Artemis said as she rinsed shampoo from Conner's hair.
"Why did I have to do this mission?" he asked.
"Because Robin is too small, Kaldur is too black, and Wally is too weak" Artemis said as she put some conditioner onto Conner's more orange than blonde hair.
"Hey!" Wally exclaimed at the sentence calling him weak.
"I meant that Tommy Terror is known to have a super strength, and while you are strong, your body type says runner, not body builder" Artemis retorted.
"How does it look?" Conner asked as he started drying his hair.
"Orange" Wally said.
"Artemis!" Superboy exclaimed.
"It's fine Conner, I knew it was going to do this. Your hair is black, you can't just go instantly blonde ok. We will do another round in a few days, and I will add more toner to it so it gets that platinum look" Artemis said as she started cleaning up the hair products.
"This is so humiliating" he said as he ran his hair though his orange-blonde locks.
"Well personally I think being an almost red-head is a good look for you Supey" Wally said as he patted Conner on the back.
