The Never Ending Decade: Broken Cores, Exposition, and Mission Start
"TA-TO-BA! TA-TO-BA! TATOBA!"
Eiji changed into Kamen Rider OOO and leapt into the fray and joined Tsukasa, Kamen Rider Decade. The pair dispatched Waste Yummy after Waste Yummy while Uva looked on, looking for an opening to take against the two Kamen Riders.
"Attack Ride, SLASH!" Tsukasa decided that he wasn't going to waste any more time with the grunts and took control of the battle, hoping that his actions would force the Greeed to show up. Eiji noticed movement in the bushes and called out to Ankh for different medals. Before a combo change could occur Uva's wasp Yummy zipped out and attacked OOO. "Watch yourself Eiji," Decade called out to him, "this might not be like any Yummy you've faced before!"
Eiji started to slot the new core medals, planning on using Latorata's speed to stay on even ground with the Yummy, but was unaware that a Greeed was sneaking up on him. Uva on the other hand was aware of this new Greeed and lunged at the new foe. "If anyone is going to take OOO's medals as his own it will be me!"
The new Greeed laughed and tossed aside his cloak to reveal a familiar face, Akira Date. Knowing full well that this couldn't be the man who bore the title of Proto-Birth everyone stopped and prepared to attack. A sudden burst of cold air knocked everyone back and the enemy changed shape and become Goto then Eiji and then into a form that only Tsukasa recognized as Natsumi.
"Silly Greeed. Silly Riders. Silly, silly, silly." The new Greeed changed once more into an odd chimeric body: Insect legs like Uva, an armored chest like Gamel, their back was covered in aquatic additions like Mezool, the left arm was like Kazari, the right arm like Dr. Maki's dinosaur form, a set of wings like Ankh and a face like a painted doll. "You've spent so much time worried about the return of the other Greeed that you forgot that desire is what makes greed. Your desire gave me life, a life from the broken cores. Now I'll break the rest of the cores and give life to others like me."
Tsukasa pulled out his K-Touch, fully ready to attack this foe and take back another memory but stopped when the Greeed pulled a card out of its body and tossed it too him. "There," the chimera chuckled, "you can now leave Decade for I have no qualm with you and your search. This fight is with the Rider of this world."
The card was covered the same strange language that Tsukasa has seen on all the other cards in his search. "Thank you for the card," he slid it into his Ride Booker, "but you are wrong about me leaving. I can't leave this world as long as there is such distortion in it. I'm going to have to get rid of you."
The new Greeed laughed, "You would be a fool to stay."
"The fool is you," Uva commented, "because I now know that you have at least one of my missing cores inside of you. You think that you will only fight against two Kamen Riders but you are wrong… face the power of a true Greeed."
Before the chimera could react Uva had killed his own Yummy, absorbed the cell medals it had produced, and fired a bolt of green lightning that rippled across his foes chest. The two riders lunged into the battle, swords drawn, and quickly struck at their shared enemy. Attack after attack pummeled the Greeed, their body struggled to hold together before several broken cores fell out onto the street. Uva picked up two of the core and chuckled. "I'll be taking these. I should take some of the other cores to revive my comrades but I don't think I'll push my luck today. So long Kamen Rider OOO, until our next encounter."
As the insect Greeed departed the chimera, who had reverted to the form of Natsumi again, howled in pain. The broken cores outside their body started to gravitate towards their body, energy arcing off them. Before either rider could react there was a flash of light and the Greeed had taken to a new body, a monstrous giant form that resembled a manticore with a shark head at the front and a T-rex head on the end of the tail.
"This might be the perfect time," OOO whimpered, "to use one of those cards of yours that fixes everything."
"I don't really have a 'Fix Everything' card but I'll see what I have." Before Tsukasa could look in his Ride Booker a card launched out and floated into his hand. He smirked, not that anyone could see his smirk behind his helmet, and loaded the card into the Decadriver.
"Final Form Rider, O-O-O-OOO!"
Finding that the round spot on the back of OOO's armor to be the perfect point, "This might tickle a bit," and pushed it in. Eiji felt funny as his legs fell away from his body and his head floated up; the three sections of his body each converted into a Candroid.
"Why," as Decade picked up one of the cans, "would I need a drink?" Popping the tab on the can he was shocked as the can folded open and became a large Taka Candroid. Taking only a moment to get used to his new body, the Eiji-Taka dashed into the enemy with blinding speed. Tsukasa picked up the remaining two cans and popped them open, releasing the Eiji-Tora and Eiji-Batta.
The monstrous chimera took to slashing and biting at the three newly born Eiji-Candroids, getting a hold on one for only a moment before the other two pounced to release the other. Tsukasa watched the battle, not sure what he could provide. Eiji-Tora ripped his way across the enemies back, tearing chucks of flesh open and causing the enemy to 'bleed' out Cell Medals that the Eiji-Batta picked up.
"Jump on my back Decade," the Eiji-Taka called out, "and I think you'll want my Medajalibur in addition to the Ride Booker." Leaping up and taking two swords in hand Tsukasa readied himself. Seconds before he made contact the Eiji-Batta release a flood of Cell Medals that clung to the swords in Decades hands, converting into blazing fire. With a pair of blazing swords Decade slashed the chimera into pieces causing a rain of medals, both Cell and broke Cores, to cover the city square. The enemy reverted into a female form with the painted doll face, "You can't do this Decade. You have what you were looking for. Why did you stay? Why did you help OOO?"
Drawing out the Final Attack Ride card and readying it, "I'm Decade, the Destroyer of Worlds, and you are something to destroy."
"What? You're the Destroyer of Worlds, so help me destroy this world!"
"I destroy the worlds that shouldn't exist. If I let you continue to exist then I would willingly allow a bad world to come to be. I am Kamen Rider Decade, he's Kamen Rider OOO, this is his world and you no longer belong."
"Final Attack Rider, O-O-O-OOO!"
The three Eiji-Candroids shot up and transformed into three colored rings similar to the ones OOO summons during his Tatoba Scanning Charge; Decade leaped up into the air and took a flying kick towards the enemy.
"Scanning Charge: SEIYA!"
Connecting with the painted doll face the collected energy of the Final Attack pulsed through the enemy's body causing the remaining Cell Medals inside the Greeed's body to break down, leading to an explosion. Landing on his feet Decade started to walk off before noticing that he had three Cores stuck to his chest. Picking them off he tossed them to ground, the three Medals flashed and OOO appeared before Decade.
"That was interesting, never experienced anything like that in any of my travels. Thank you for all your help Decade."
"Not a problem OOO, keep out of trouble in the future."
"I'll try, but with Uva trying to resurrect the other Greeed that might be difficult."
Tsukasa laughed and started off into the distance, leaving in a stoic way.
"But you need to tell me," Eiji called out, "what was that card the Greeed gave you?"
*Hikari Studios*
Tsukasa sat down at an empty table, waiting for a cup of coffee that would never arrive.
"Tsukasa, did you find another card?" Daiki Kaito looked like he was recovering well, although he still seemed to be limping. Opening a book that he picked off another table, several cards fell to the floor. "Sorry. I'll pick them up." Kaito winced as he picked them up.
"Kaito," Tsukasa gloomily commented, "are you mad that you are injured in this way? Are you upset that you are stuck here while I'm going out into the world?" Kaito laughed and shook his head as he picked up the remaining cards and laid them out of the table.
"I'm a little upset that I can't help you find Natsumi's cards, but once I've recovered I'll be joining you, collecting will go much faster with two of us."
Tsukasa smiled, just enough that Kaito caught sight of it and smiled back. The two organized the cards on the table until they were placed out in a formation that the pair call "the map", Tsukasa opened the Ride Booker and picked the new card out. Carefully looking over "the map" he found where to set this new card down. The moment he had added to "the map" the backdrop in the studio flashed and showed three vehicles that were also animals.
Kaito looked quizzically at the backdrop. "Where is that? Is that one of the new riders, those Neo-Heisei guys?"
"NOPE!" a loud, shrill voice called out, "You two will be going to a world with no rider. Special Operations Go-Busters." Looking around for the source of the voice the pair eventually found a small white bat.
"Kiva-la? When did you get here?"
"After Dai-Shocker attacked I seemed to have vanished, I don't know where I went but I do know that the card you found in OOO's world seemed to have been key for my return."
Tsukasa smiled, knowing now that each card he gathered were actually doing something.
Kaito caught the second smile of the day, "Seems like we're getting somewhere. We'll find Natsumi, Yusuke, the old man, maybe even my Diendriver."
Tsukasa set the timer on his camera, "Does anyone want coffee?"
"Why are we waiting?" Kiva-la asked, "Shouldn't we get out there and look for more cards?"
"No," Kaito shook his head, "we can't leave. If we try to leave before that time goes off we won't end up in the world we are heading towards. That's how we lost Yusuke."
Kiva-la landed on the table, just noticing that the silly man she enjoyed chatting with was not there. A sadness fell about her. "I'll take a cup of coffee then, some cream and sugar please."
*World of the Go-Busters*
Retreating seemed to be the natural state of Enter as of late. The Go-Busters had just defeated another Metaroid and even destroyed the MegaZord that it summoned. "A MegaZord Gamma and MegaZord Delta…. What a waste!" He kicked over a trash bin in rage and started to thrash in the trash, stopping in his tantrum to investigate an unusually hard piece of trash that his foot happened to connect with. Enter picked up a gun of some kind.
"Qu'est-ce que c'est? Where did you come from?" Examining the gun in his hands, looking for some kind of barcode or identification number. "Are you some new weapon for the Go-Busters peut-être?" Deciding that he couldn't figure out this device on his own he pulled out his laptop and attached his viral transmission cable, a pop-up on the screen interested Enter. "Diendriver? You're not a Go-Buster toy are you?"
Trying to scan one of his MetaVirus Enter found it not possible to create a Metaroid, something that irked him ever so much. Turning back to his laptop he found more stats about his new toy.
*Energy Management Center*
"Another successful mission." Commander Kuroki announced to his team. The Go-Busters relaxed around a conference table, filling in post combat paperwork and reading debriefings. The Buddyroids enjoyed recharging with some Enetron. Yoko, Yellow Buster, got up to restock her candy supply. As she passed by the Buddyroids, Gorisaki noticed something stuck to her foot.
"Yoko, you have something stuck to your foot." Picking off a card Yoko took a look at it, reading the words "Kamen Rider Diend" on it.
"Worry about that later," Miho Nakamura called out, "We just had an energy spike down. We need to check this out."
*Hikari Studios*
"Welcome to the world of Go-Busters," Kiva-la flitted around the doorway, "shall we proceed?"
