"Why can't we be like them?" Dominique asks herself, as she watches those classic Muggle Disney movies with her cousins (Snow White, Cinderella, etcetera, etcetera). But it's really just a rhetorical question, because she knows why. It's because he's her cousin.
But she doesn't care; she's in love with him. She's never felt this way about anyone else before. And she knows he loves her.
But they can't be all 'let's show everyone how much we love each other!' and sing a song, like those people do.
All she wants is to run away, as far away as possible and just be with him, like it wasn't wrong. No one would ever know...
So she makes plans with him. They sneak out in the middle of the night, and runrunrun, until they don't even know where they are anymore.
She points her wand at him, mumbles the incantation, and he forgets everything, except that he loves her. She does the same to herself.
Now they could be like the couples in the movies.
