Mine Forever Part 5
Everyone was left speechless after Sophie went back and got Scott and Shelby. No one could believe that they thought they're actually going to get married!
"They're going to hate me now," Jules says sadly.
Auggie puts her arm around her. "They'll get over it, Jules," he comforts her.
They decide to leave the lodge and David follows. Only Daisy and Ezra are left.
"So, you knew all along?" Ezra asks Daisy.
"Unfortunately yes."
"How come you didn't tell me?"
"Believe me. I wanted to. But Shelby made me promise not to tell anyone."
"I understand."
Silence.
Ezra certainly know how he feels about Daisy. Daisy is still not sure about the whole situation. She knows that she likes him and that she's never felt closer to him. But she's never had a boyfriend before and, frankly, she is a bit scared of the whole idea.
"So how's the search going for your parental units?" Daisy asks breaking the silence.
"I don't know yet. I haven't had a chance to call Kat again. And all I've told her so far is that I want to find them."
"Do you think you'll ever actually find them?"
"Who knows?" Ezra sighs. "Do you think Peter would understand if I told him?"
Daisy thinks for a minute. "I don't think now would be the best time to tell him."
"You're probably right. I don't think I'll tell him unless Kat finds something."
More silence.
"Silence is deafening," Daisy says a few minutes later. "Talk about something."
"Daisy...." Ezra hesitates. "I want to know exactly how you feel about me."
Daisy sighs and puts her head back on the couch. She was hoping her wouldn't ask her that. She isn't sure yet.
"I don't know, Ezra. I do really like you, but there's always something inside me that keeps holding me back."
"Well, here's something that might change your mind for you."
Ezra leans over and gives Daisy a simple kiss on the lips. This time she doesn't push him away like she did in the boathouse. Instead she smiles.
"I think my mind has been changed," She replies and leans in to kiss him again. :)

When it's time to head back to the dorms for the night, Daisy and Juliette find Shelby already in there. She had been banished to the dorms for the rest of the day.
"So, how'd Peter take your "good news"?" Daisy asks while pulling her pajamas out of the drawer.
"He wasn't too happy about it. So he sent us to our dorms."
"That's it?"
"Pretty much." Shelby didn't want to tell him them that Peter was switching Scott into another group. It wouldn't matter anyway since they would just be gone in the night.
"Guess he must have been in a good mood tonight."
"Guess so."
Juliette sits down on her bed across from Shelby. "Shel, do you hate me for letting it slip?"
Shelby looks up at her and can see that Juliette is clearly upset. "I don't hate you anymore than usual," she jokes. In fact, Shelby is happy that Juliette had said something. Now they will be getting married in a few days instead of having to wait a whole year.
Juliette just gives a small smile. She doesn't quite understand why Shelby isn't furious at her.
Soon everyone gets ready for bed and the lights are turned out.

Shelby checks her watch and it's almost midnight. She had had plenty of time to pack her bag while she was banished to her dorm.
She quickly grabs her stuff and heads out the door before anyone hears her. She finds Shelby already there and runs to give him a kiss.
"You ready to go?" he asks.
"I'm more than ready."
They hold hands and head off to the main road, leaving Horizon behind.
