Miroku was on the internet.
He found several websites about him.
So he went to the first one.
He had to make sure they described him correctly.
Like saying he was brilliant.
And handsome.
And an excellent fighter.
And not cursed.
And most importantly, searching for a wife.
The first website said he was perverted.
Miroku didn't like that.
Miroku found the creator of the site.
He said he would remove the dark cloud hovering above their house if they
changed the description.
They agreed.
Miroku placed charms around the house.
Then he said the dark cloud was gone.
They were happy.
They changed the description.
And gave him money.
Miroku was happy.
He went back to the website.
The description was now accurate.
But, strangely, there were messages from others all over the site.
They said he was perverted.
Miroku didn't like that.
Miroku found each of the people who said this.
He said he would remove the dark cloud hovering above their house if they

And so on and so forth. I wrote this after seeing (whatever episode it was) where Inu Yasha said something to Miroku about, "So why is it every time we get to a town there's always a dark cloud or something hovering over the best inn?" So it's based on that.
