Halt looked outside at Will, who was standing stock still.
"What are you doing?" Halt asked.
"Halt! You asked a question!" Will said.
"So?"
You are human after all then!" Will continued.
To this, Halt had no answer. "What are you doing?" he asked again.
"Waiting for the leaf to fall." Will said as if it were obvious.
"Huh?"
"Waiting-"
"I wasn't asking you to repeat that." Halt interrupted. "Why are you waiting for the leaf to fall?"
"If I don't get the leaf right away you'll make me pick up all the sticks and leaves off the grass." Will said.
Halt had to admit that this was true.
Will was still outside, in that same spot, one month later.
It was snowing. He wasn't moving.
"Will! Get in here!" Halt yelled at Will. He didn't have much hope that Will would listen, he never did. To his surprise, Will moved. Then he stumbled inside.
His lips were blue and there was frost in his hair.
"Thanks. I forgot to go inside." Will said.
So basically Will stood in the same spot for a month. Yikes. And it got snowy and cold. Double yikes. I can't even imagine all the trouble he would've gotten with bugs. This didn't turn out quite how I expected it to, so please review! If you review for me, I'll review for you!
