Ally's POV
As I looked down at the stick in my hand, all the memories came flashing back. Austin and I in his house, on his bed, making love.
And now, God was punishing me. He figured, "Hey, maybe having Austin get her pregnant is enough to teach her to never have sex before marriage."
It's not like I sinned. I've seen Deadly Sins and I know for a fact that having sex before marriage isn't a sin. Or is it? Lust is a sin. Does having sex before marriage count as lust? I don't know.
There was a knock on the door.
"Ally, are you in there?" I heard Trish say. "Ally, can I come in?"
I sighed deeply and opened the bathroom door.
"What's that?" She immediately asked.
I sighed again and handed her the pregnancy test. She stared at it, trying to comprehend.
What? My best friend is pregnant? Is what she was most likely thinking.
"Is it Austin's?" She asked me.
Duh! I solemnly nodded.
"You don't look too happy." She noticed.
"Because I'm not! Austin Moon, teenage pop star, got Ally Dawson, shy songwriter, pregnant. What am I supposed to do?" I whined.
"You could always—"
"I'm not getting an abortion." I quickly said.
"Not that! I was going to say, you could always give it for adoption."
My arms wrapped around my stomach at the thought. Give my Austin's baby up for adoption; not being able to watch it grow up to be just like its daddy?
I shook my head.
"Well," She sighed in frustration. "are you going to tell Austin or not?"
I shook my head again, then realized that if I got bigger, Austin would surely notice. He'd probably think I'd cheated on him with and got pregnant by Dallas.
No. Dallas and I broke up a year ago. We were still friends and such, but we never talked about our relationship before that.
"At least, not right now. Not for a little bit. And don't tell Dez. I know he's your boyfriend and all, but there are some things that best friends just can't tell their boyfriends."
Trish's POV
Man, I really wanted to tell Dez when I saw him later that day.
He took me to Burger King. I ordered a whopper and small French fries and a Pepsi. Dez ordered a burger and Gatorade. I swear, he could be so childish sometimes.
"So," he started. "what's new?"
I laughed.
"Nothing."
"That laugh didn't seem like nothing."
I know it was quick, but he broke me. Austin had a right to know and as the godfather, Dez had a right to know.
"Ally's pregnant!"
"By Austin?"
I nodded and sipped my Pepsi until my brain hurt.
Austin's POV
Ally had been avoiding me these past couple of days.
I wonder why.
I was meeting Dez at the yogurt shop in a few minutes. Well, he was meeting me at the yogurt shop in a few minutes. He was running late because he had a date with Trish. Finally, I saw his red hair coming my way.
"Hey, Dez!" I shouted across the store.
"'Sup, Austin. Hey, listen, I have the most bewildering news to tell you. I promised Trish I wouldn't tell, but I kind of have to. For your sake and Ally's."
"What's wrong with Ally?
"She's pregnant." He told me.
I froze right on the spot.
