She knows decisions can be hard.
She has faced more then enough in her time, and there is no doubt that she has picked the wrong choice sometimes. Mistakes happen. But she can't make a mistake this time. This, this is going to impact her life forever. No matter what she chooses.
Her mind flashes back to her father, telling her to choose what she wants. She knows she wants this job, more then anything she's ever wanted. But what if what she wants is wrong?
And then there's him. On one knee, in front of her, holding a ring. A beautiful, legitimate ring. She has to hold in a hysterical laugh. It's funny, really. Two hours ago she didn't know where the relationship was headed, if it was serious or just another day. And now he's kneeling in front of her, looking as serious as she's ever seen him. God, she thinks, to marry him would change everything. It's too soon. It would be stupid, and reckless, and totally against everything she stands for.
Which is why she says yes.
