Time Period: Reality

Event: Emma's baby shower

Action: Neal redesigned the nursery. He shows off the nursery to Emma.

Emma ((eight months pregnant) wears a blindfold): I can't see anything. This is not funny.

Neal (takes off the blindfold): Surprise!

Emma (amazed): You redesigned the nursery

Neal: Redesigning the nursery was definitely a labor of love. Team work makes any dream possible. The nursery was one of my baby shower gifts for you.

Emma (kissing Neal): I love you

Neal (with a smirk): I love you too

Emma (walking around the nursery): I am starting to see pink all over the place

Neal: I guess it has something to do with the pink walls and decorations

Emma: Pink has become my favorite color since we are expecting a baby girl

Neal: She will be born in just six weeks

Emma: I wonder what kind of future our daughter will have. Will she share the same fate as me?

Neal (touching Emma's stomach): She will have a bright future

Emma (choked up): What if I don't live long enough to see her grow up?

Neal: We will grow old together, I assure you this.

Emma (starring into a dream catcher): Nothing is better than the second time around

Neal (reliving the past through the dream catcher): Princess Diamond...Sweet Aria

Time Period: A Flashback

Situation: Diamond/Aria's birth and Death

Doctor (checking Emma's cervix): Emma, you are fully dilated ten centimeters.

Emma (developing an urge to push): I have to push. The baby is coming right now.

Doctor (preparing to catch the baby): So push

( Emma begins pushing and Neal coaches her through each new contraction. Everything appears going great until a complication arises)

Doctor: Emma, please stop pushing

Emma (worried): Why?

Neal (worried): Doctor, is the baby in distress?

Doctor (trying to untie the umbilical cord around the baby's neck): The umbilical cord is tied around the baby's neck

Emma (crying into Neal's arms): I am afraid we might lose Aria

Neal (stroking Emma's hair): Aria will not die

Doctor: Emma, I have untied the cord around the baby's neck. You can finish birthing the baby.

Emma (in the mist of pushing again): OK

(Silently, Aria enters the world bearing a deep blue outer appearance. Doctor and his team of nurses perform CPR on Aria. Sadly, the baby dies breaking the hearts of her parents)

Scene: The waiting area

(Crying, Neal approaches everyone)

Regina: This is suppose to be a happy special occasion for you. I don't understand why you are crying so much.

Neal (crying): We lost the baby

Belle (shocked and confused): How so?

Neal (sobbing): The baby was a stillborn

Mr. Gold (choked up, he embraces Neal): I am here for you, Son

David: The loss of a baby is a pain that will never heal

Mary Margaret (crying): I know, it hurts

Killian: My heart goes out to Emma and Belfire

Henry (emotional): I have to see mom

Neal: Your mom is quite vulnerable at the moment and yet she needs someone to talk to.

Scene: Emma's recovery room

Henry (sitting down at Emma's bedside): Mom..

Emma (crying): I apologize for not being able to give you a sibling

Henry: Its ok

Emma (sobbing): I lost my girl

John: What did she look like?

Emma (sniffling): Aria had your dad's eyes, my nose and mouth. She had curly brown hair and tender soft porcelain white skin. She was taken away from me before I had a chance to hold her.

Henry (crying): I miss my sister, I would've loved her

Emma (squeezing John's hand): Kitty's spirit will always be with us
