I crouched lower in the grass, watching my prey closely. There were no signs that he was aware of me. Purr~fect. I sprang, soaring through the air. "Oof!" He breathed as I landed on his back.
I leaned down, whispering in his ear, "I win." I stood up laughing. He looked up at me indignantly.
"I let you win." He got up, brushing the grass off his fur and straitening his hat.
"Mhm, sure you did Puss. Just like last time. And the time before that. Face it. You can't beat Soft Paws." I said smugly, twirling my his hat on my tail. He groped the top of his head for a second before rolling his eyes.
"You have really got to stop that." He said, smiling at me. I laughed. Walking to him, I set the hat back on his head.
"You know you like it." I said tantalizingly, grinning at him.
"Si." And then he leaned down and kissed me.
A/N: So Midaime and I went to see Puss in Boots saturday night and the he said he wanted a fanfic for it so here it is. In all its what? 10 sentece glory? Sigh... Kinda a fail. I know. It happens. We don't judge. haha We'll review please!
