The sun is shining, and don't they know it. By 'they' I mean the kids, all the students from the leaf village academy are playing outside, taking advantage of the glorious weather, making friends and practicing tricks with their new kunai knives. That is everyone other than a young boy named Sasuke. The young Uchiha is sat in his immaculate room, from his bed to the window there isn't a speck of dust to be seen. A single ray of the sun; shines blindingly through the almost closed curtains, it lands softly on his expressionless face.
Sasuke's Dark eyes are looking through the narrow crack in the curtains at the foolish blonde kid from the academy. The two young men had met just the day before and as expected the two did not get off to a good start. 'I'm not surprised' Sasuke thought solemnly 'after all yesterday was enough proof for anyone to see just how different we are'.
'Sharingan' Sasuke didn't say it loud enough for the noisy kids outside to hear him; but anyone could recognise the infamous jutsu that Sasuke was using because the sun was now illuminating his eyes making them a deep red colour. At a closer inspection, Sasuke is taken aback by what he sees; Naruto could be seen in a window from across the street. Naruto was always alone, people had avoided him at all costs since he can remember, though all he had were good intentions, he found himself the troublemaker of the village and the more trouble that he caused the more he could see HATRED in the villager's expressions. And the more hatred that they threw at him the more he felt like a hopeless outcast. He lets out a tear as he curls up on his bed; his flat looks as though a bomb has hit it and it is apparent to Sasuke that Naruto had not exactly been in the mood to tidy, for months. Sasuke sees all this and realises he doesn't need his sharingan to see just how alone Naruto is.
For a minute Sasuke is lost in thought, 'we are just the same' he doesn't speak his mind he just lets his mind take over, 'he knows my anguish'.
'Damn it' Sasuke swore aloud,' he closed his eyes and lay back on his bed 'I cannot get attached to anyone here, otherwise I will become useless and my goal, my life will be meaningless.' Sasuke let out a sigh full of frustration 'my mind runs but I can never seem to catch it ... I'm... SO WEAK!'
someone that Sasuke had once looked up to, had told him that the only thing that could help him achieve, what he had dedicated his life to achieving, was Hatred. So if there was one thing the self-loathing Sasuke despised, it was weakness.
