"No! Absolutely not! Never!"
"Come on, please! I'll promise to take care of it!"
"Are you bloody insane!? It's going pee all over the TARDIS and demand attention!"
"But it's so cute!"
"It's not a puppy, it's a child! And he'd like you to stop calling him cute. He says he's a man, not a little girl."
"Oh, come on Kathlynian."
"No Doctor, there is no way I am letting you bring a baby on board the TARDIS. Now put him back where you found him."
"He said he doesn't like you." The Doctor huffed.
"You can't trick me Doctor, I can speak baby too." Kathlynian sighed.
"Why are you so stubborn?" The Doctor grumbled as he struggled to keep up with her fast pace.
"Why are you so stupid?" Kathlynian taunted.
"Meany."
"Idiot."
"Female."
"Puny."
"One-hearted."
"Weak-stomached."
"You are exactly the same, Kathlynian!"
"Exactly the same as what?" She shouted still walking towards the TARDIS as fast as she could without running.
"Exactly the same... As Katherine Poppy!"
She spun around to face him, shooting him a cold glare. "Maybe because I am Katherine Poppy." She hissed.
"Wait, Kathlynian, I didn't mean it like that." He apologized.
"I am Katherine Poppy okay? That little short brown haired girl, was me, okay? If you didn't like her, then sorry, because that. Was. Me."
The Doctor quickly grabbed her by the waist and kissed her. She resisted for a moment, but then gave in, running her hands through his raggedy hair.
"Stay Katherine Poppy." He whispered, leaning his forehead against her's.
"Forever Katherine Poppy" She agreed.
"Kathlynian, I..." The Doctor said, stopping himself.
"You, what?" She asked worriedly.
"Nothing," he murmured, "I'm just glad you aren't mad anymore."
"Okay." She smiled. "Me too."
Forever Katherine Poppy is a companion piece to my story "Until Death Can't Touch" Set directly after the end of the story, and before the sequel.
