A/n- As always, I am not the talented super genus Stephenie Meyer. Because life is just unfair that way.

"It is now time for the 7th inning stretch." the announcer boomed over the loudspeaker. I stood and reached to the sky, extending my stiff muscles. Jasper and Edward had dragged Alice and I to this stupid Mariners game on a perfectly good Saturday to sit in the sun and read.

But no, my perfect, sexy, green-eyed god of a boyfriend had to sweet talk me into coming here. Oh! And I almost forgot the best part!

He's been absent for the past inning!!!

Yes- he'd left before the 6th inning to "use the bathroom" and had never come back. There better be one hell of a line to save his ass from me now.

I stood there, smacking my gum as I scanned the grey concrete stairs, watching for him so I could chew him out. Suddenly, the announcers voice broke my agitated mental silence.

"Ladies and gentlemen, now's about the time we start our famous 'kiss cam'" the audience applauded loudly for a moment, "but, today we have a change in plans. Will a Miss Bella Swan please come centerfield?"

Had I heard him correctly?

"Go, Bella!" Alice urged, shoving me into the isle. I looked up at the MegaTron screen, which had it's focus on me, shakenly descending the stairs. I slowly made my way down to the gate separating the stands and the field, the cameras still following me. A big man (who reminded me of a bouncer I'd once seen outside of a bar) smirked at me and undid the lock, letting me pass.

By now, I had spotted a tall, slender figure waiting for me centerfield- as I got closer, I could see that it was my own personal Adonis. He had changed his clothes- now looking dashing in a black jacket and dark jeans. His eyes held the anticipation of a three year old on Christmas morning.

I could literally feel every pair eyes on me as I walked stiffly up to him.

"Edward, what's going on?" I asked him timidly, noticing the microphone in his hand.

"Bella," he said in a serious, creamy voice, "I need you to look up there for me." he pointed to the MegaTron.

I did, and there, written in big, red letters, was:

WILL YOU MARRY ME BELLA?

I gasped and turned back to him- he had dropped to one knee and was holding a little black box out in one hand, the microphone in the other, waiting for my reply.

The entire stadium was silent- time seemed to hold still as I reached for the mic.

"You of all people would do this." I said, my voice thick with emotion and tears, "Yes!"

He stood up and slid the engagement ring on my finger; the crowd went wild as we kissed, deep and building.

"Hey, Edward?" I asked as we sauntered, hand in hand, off the field.

"Yes, my beautiful fiancée?" he said happily.

"You are so getting some for this."

a/n- AWW! Wasn't that cute! No plot here, really, just some E/B fluff. I'm thinking about turning this into a SHORT story (5 chapters MAX!) REVIEW!!! If I get more than 10 requests to turn it into a short story before the end of the week (Saturday) than I'll continue it.
