Well, enjoy, guys! 3
Imagine...
You wake up underground, laying in a pool of blood. You feel sweat dripping down your forehead, your legs numb and you can barely move your arms. You struggle to get up, but fail to succeed. After a few more attempts, you manage to sit up, your eyes being blinded for a split second. All you see is pure white until your eyes finally adjust to the brightness. You manage to stand up, stumbling, and attempted to walk over to where the brightness was coming from. You look out into the open - what used to be cities filled with cars and people; music and cheers filled with joy; people dancing around to beats of their own cultures; parties and celebrations filled with the slow and dying laughs, fading into gasps of worry, panic, distraught. Faint conversations turning into shrieks and screams. Sirens are sounded from everywhere, warnings from the EAS'. You feel people running towards you...
No - towards safety. You turn around to see people climbing down into what seemed to be a shelter, protected by layers and layers of thick metal. You see yourself, being pushed by an old woman. But, just as she was about to go into the dark depths of the shelter, there is a flash of light as an explosion of some sort sounds from behind you. You panic, forgetting the fact that this is just a flash-back. You run towards the woman, getting weaker and weaker, until you finally reach her. You hold your hand out, just inches away until you are blown into darkness, heat radiating of the air and melting the surface of the metal layers. You realize that the woman is still out there, and reach out. You see her hand, just inches away, you could easily reach out, just that little bit further, you feel your hands skin being melted by the radiation, and you can feel your hands meeti-
A sharp jab of pain flows through your arm as your senses finally come to life. You look down to what was a meant to be an arm covered in skin, but just a burned off hand. You realize the radiation must have caused this. Your hearing starts to come back as you hear the soft breeze next to your ear. You look down to see blood all over your jeans - like that matters right now. You look up to the sky - a dark mud-yellow mixing with the clouds. Your breathing becomes hoarse as you breath in the deadly fumes. You look around the area surrounding you - buildings are destroyed, cars melted and bones scattered around. All there is left remaining is the corpses of the dead and few people that remained alive... Yet, they weren't. The only living soul that existed on the planet is you. You are the only remaining piece of life. And you are the last. You regain sense in your legs as you walk over to the edge of what seemed to be a mountain. You reach the edge, and choke. What you see is what no one would expect. The earth seemed to be cut in half, the deep hole reaching down to the planets core. You see melted rock seeping down into the center, getting hotter and hotter. You see a flash of white in the sky - the two suns, they're burning out. There is an explosion, followed by another as the sky blacks out. You collapse to the ground - there is no point in living. You slowly drift away, your senses collapsing as darkness covers you. You feel a release as you slowly let the darkness engulf you, drifting off into an eternal dream...
Sorry for any spelling mistakes ^.^
