The phone rang. A red-headed woman walked across her front room and picked it up.
"Hello, is this Donna Noble?" The voice on the other end asked.
"Um, yes?" The woman replied, unsure. There was a long pause on the other end. "You still there mate?" She asked.
"I- uh, yeah sorry. I don't have long. Just get out of the house okay? Something bad is going to happen and you need to leave." The man on the other end said hurriedly.
"But who are you?" Donna said quickly.
"I can't tell you. You used to know me and you're going to have to trust me now Donna. Please. Take your kids and leave. Now." He said with pain in his voice. A tear slid down Donna's face silently. She wiped it away, not even sure of why she was crying.
"Okay." She whispered and put the phone down.
On the other end of the line in the TARDIS the Doctor replaced the phone and sank to the floor in a crouch, head in his hands, tears streaming down his face. He stood up slowly and set the TARDIS on track for Donna's house. This monster needed to be stopped while Donna and her family were still alive. At least they would be out of the way now.
