Gone
SPN 100 Drabble Challenge, word: skin.
Summary: It's not that you decide you can't take it anymore – it just… happens.
There used to be a lot going under his skin. He can remember that much. Furtive looks that said he didn't fit in. Soft caresses carrying the sadness of goodbye. Claws and teeth and knifes and needles, leaving an encoded journal written in scars allover his body. Spoken and unspoken words, hurting like nothing else in the world. His skin has never been much of a protection. So maybe he's better off now. 'Cause no matter what happens – he can't feel a thing. Not on the inside, anyway. He wonders if Sam's been the same – when his soul was gone.
A/N: Yeah - I know. I just had the most beautiful walk through the park, enjoying the sun and the colorful Indian Summer - and now that? Anyway, loved the word of the week and that's what happened in the maze of my brain :-)
