N/A: Just a small drabble-ish thingy. Found prompt on Tumblr. I have nothing better to do. And imagine this- I wrote a straight pairing XD!
Clothes make a man
"Don't tell me that you're going to wear that."
Garen turned around and stared at his wife. Dressed in long, silk dress with flaming red hair flowing down her back, Katarina will surely draw many eyes and stares tonight at the party.
As will Garen, but for entirely different reason.
"What's wrong with my clothes?"
Katarina glared at him: "There is so much wrong that I can't even count it. Who the hell wears blue tie with yellow dots on white suit with red dress shirt!?"
Garen was fashion catastrophe.
"My other suits are out for dry cleaning!"
"But your ties aren't!" Katarina argued back, stomping over to the dresser. She tugged it open violently and threw clothes out, searching for a tie.
"I am not planning to change my clothes."
"And I am not letting you leave the room dressed like a clown. Whole Valoran will laugh at you."
She finally found a black tie with silver jewel on it. At least she didn't have to find him new suit to wear. She walked back to him, giving him threating look.
"Off with that hideous thing."
And Garen was a smart man. When his wife gives him that look, it means it will be her way or they won't budge for hours. The worst thing is- she is mostly right. He took off the questionable garment and let his wife do her magic. Or rather- dress him up properly.
Katarina fiddle with the collar and the tie for some time, finally fixing it, feeling that her husband was staring at her from his height. With final push on the knot and brushing off, she looked up at him.
"That wasn't so hard, was it?"
"I don't really feel like going to this party," he muttered, trying to draw her closer.
He just got palm up his chin. Katarina made her way towards the door after skillfully slinking away from Garen's grasp.
"If you don't go, your best friend forever will be most disappointed," she bit back, fixing her necklace. "And do you really want Swain getting it on with Lux?"
That got Garen moving.
"Let's go," Garen stomped past Katarina faster than Luxanna's 'Final Spark'. With a chuckle, Katarina turned off the light in the bedroom and closed the door behind them.
