Disclaimer: I don't own Pirates of the carribean.
Just keep walking, don't ever stop.
That was what his little voice told him, yet he felt as if he had been walking on an invisible endless path for days, everything else was pitch black. This is silly, I'm turning back. He thought, yet as his foot took a step backwards, there was nothing, only empty space. In blindness, he waved his arms about for balance, but a gust of powerful wind thrust him forward, resuming his position as if the path itself decides his fate.
Keep going! The little voice echoed in his ears, he knew had no choice but to obey. His patience was thinning, he decided to walk faster and faster until he ended up running, yet the end was never there and turning back was death. Suddenly in the silence of the dark, he saw a small source of light, like a star. Is that the end? He wondered to himself, relieved that it was not an endless path after allYet, as he got closer to the light, he never felt any closer to it.
Keep going. You're almost there! The voice continued to echo in his mind. Desperate, he reached out his hands as if trying to grab the light and in a second, the white light expanded and consumed him. It took a while for his eyes to adjust to the sudden brightness. Then he found himself in an abandoned island, with white sand, smooth as flour as the brightness ceased.
He looked behind him and saw a tunnel of thick bushes and trees. So that's why, I wonder how it was that pitch black and soundless… yet what is my purpose here?
He studied his surroundings….
Rocks…
Sand…
Trees…
Coconut bearing trees…
Birds…
Elizabeth…
More rocks…
More birds….
Shells…………..Elizabeth?! He saw her sitting on a large moss-covered stone wearing those brown torn dress like the last time he saw her. Elizabeth looked up and grinned happily, "Will! What are you doing here?" she said running to him.
What am I doing? I… Will Turner didn't know the purpose of being in that place. Elizabeth looked at him wonderingly then her eyes changed to sadness, "Why are you so grim?"
"Elizabeth, it's just that, we haven't met for so long. All I can do was think about you, yet I can never reach you," A tear slid down his cheerless face. Elizabeth looked at him in sympathy. Why did things have to turn out this way? If only I wasn't made captain for the Flying Dutchman… Then it was Elizabeth's turn to shed tears, "Why waste your tears for me" Will wiped her tears with a finger. They stared at each other closely for a while, and then Elizabeth sobbed, "I've missed you so much!" Then in an instant, her lips caught his, and everything else, the birds, the trees, even time seemed to stop. He held her close, never wanting to let go, yet, there was something missing while everything seemed perfect. He could hear her heart beat thumping firmly, yet steadily but not his. Where is my heart? I don't feel anything!
"ELIZABETH!!" Will screamed on top of his lungs. He realized he was only screaming at the ceiling of the old ship.
