A knock was heard on the Cullen's door. Carlisle went to answer it and found three vampires standing at his door.
"Our names are Kyle, Rosie, and I'm John. It's almost dawn and we need a place to stay." John said.
"You're welcome here if you like." Carlisle said letting them in.
They noticed for the first time how there were large windows in which sunlight can easily come in.
"How could you live here? Aren't you afraid you will burn up?" Rosie asked.
"What are you talking about?" Carlisle asked completely clueless.
"We thought you were vampires."
"We are vampires."
"Then aren't you afraid you will burn up in the sunlight?!"
"We don't burn in the sunlight."
"What? How could you not burn in the sunlight? That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard! What kind of vampire are you?" Kyle said.
"We just don't burn in the sunlight, but we can't go out in the sunlight because people would know we weren't normal." Carlisle said.
"Oh, then you look like a monster then?"
"No, we sparkle."
"Sparkle?! What are you a fairy princess?"
"No."
"You must be joking then?"
"No."
"I'm sorry but if you sparkle then maybe your more of a little girl's dream than a vampire."
"I wouldn't say-"
"Are you going to tell me you have a reflection next or can actually touch holy water or that you love garlic?"
"All of those things are true."
"Really? I think I can throw up just knowing that you call yourself a vampire."
"Clearly, your not like us, but is there somewhere we can continue this conversation where there isn't any sunlight."
Carlisle took them to a room with no windows, "Will this work?"
"Yes, now we may continue."
Edward came in, "Carlisle, I thought I could hear more minds. Do we have- oh we do have guests."
"Edward, this is John, Rosie, and Kyle. They are also vampires."
"What a minute. You could read minds?" Rosie asked Edward.
"Yes," Edward replied.
"Since when do vampires have superpowers?" John asked.
"Some of us always have had powers since we became vampires."
"Are you going to tell me you see the future next?"
"No, but Alice can see the future."
"So you're basically super hero fairy princesses. Do you at least drink human blood?" Kyle asked.
"No, we drink animal blood."
"How do you even survive like that? You're clearly not even a real vampire."
"I am a vampire."
"Yeh, like a little kid's dream of one."
"No what? As soon as it's night time we're going to leave this place. Clearly, we ran into some really backwards vampires. If I could even really call you that." John said and he kept his promise.
