It's amazing what guilt can do to a person. Even for someone as strong America. He couldn't forgive himself for hurting Japan . America was blinded by revenge for Hawaii. Japan was too kind for that kind of damage. America couldn't call himself a hero for all the innocent lives he took and all the pain he gave her. He didn't realize what he was doing until the reality of his careless actions finally caught up with him. He found her blood soaked small body in a pile of ruble. He kept saying to her that he was sorry. But when she looked up at him with those warm brown eyes she only smiled and said that it "was ok" she said she would be fine. But when he came home so many of his own people started protesting outside his house with sign's that said
"Murderer"
"Baby killer"
"Monster"
He just pushed pass them to go in his house to rid of his guilt. But no matter how much whiskey he drank he couldn't forget. Even years later . He continued to hurt until he decided to make sure he would hurt anyone else. He put a gun to his head and the pain ended. The next morning he was found him with his face in his pillow with a note that said.
" I'll love her till i die."
Japan couldn't believe what had been said of the young superpowers death. She couldn't believe that it was true. She didn't see any guilt in his actions. They didn't visit each other as much as they used to before pearl harbor. But he was strong. He had so much potential. He was a very good friend to her. She shoved all the blame on herself. Even though it was the spirit of war that caused this. But even nations are human. On the 4th of July she visited his grave to say a final goodbye and to leave some flowers at his grave. As she found his grave she saw a piece of paper under a rock on top of his head stone. She looked around to see if the person who put the note on his grave was still around. Normally she didn't snoop in other people's belongs but something inside of her said to. When she read the not she noticed that it was Americas handwriting and it said,
" I'll love her till I die."
When she read the note she felt tears slide down her face. As she was about to leave, she kneeled at his grave and said,
" I'll love you for eternity or until I can see you again in heaven."
She quickly stood up and walked to her rental car a drove to the airport to fly back to her home.
England sat behind the tree next to Americas grave a little longer to make sure Japan was gone. When he was sure she was gone he stood in front of his brothers grave and started talking to him by saying things like " It's nice today isn't it? Such lovely weather ."
Then England stood up and said,
" I'm glad that I could help you tell Japan how you felt about her with out confusing her.."
As he turned around he mumbled something among the lines of " I'll make sure your land is taken car of". And with that he walked to his car and drove off.
