He couldn't reach. Peter didn't know what was happening. But he couldn't reach his teacher. He didn't know what was going on. He was scared, the man held him close and was moving fast. Or rather... It felt like was. Peter couldn't tell with how the room kept spinning.
He whined and tried to grab the man's arms. But each arm felt heavy and limp. He couldn't move when all he really wanted was someone to hold him and tell him he'd be okay as he curled up into a little ball. But he could hardly move in the man's arms anyway.
He could hear the man say something, but he couldn't make out just what was being said. He took in deep breaths as his lungs began to ache. He could feel his body being shifted around as he was placed inside something.
It was cold, metal, and far different from a person. He whimpered and tried to raise his hand. His vision began to go as whatever he was in closed around him. He felt fear coil deep within him.
Why was this happening? All he could remember was something hurting the back of his neck, like bug bite or something, and then, all this.
He started crying when he felt a shock of cold, like he was in some kind of freezer. His eyes grew heavy and fatigue overcame his muscles. In his last few moments awake, he swore he could see ice forming inside whatever was housing him.
Spiderman (any verse)
Peter was orphaned like in most renditions. However, there was a detour before his Uncle Ben and Aunt May when he stayed in an orphanage. It just so happened that Norman Osborn had decided it would be good press to allow children to take a look around one of their safer labs under strict supervision. Encourage future scientists and all. Things go south when Peter is bitten by a spider that begins to mutate him. In a panic, Norman carries Peter away, into a medical lab, many floors below. In desperation to keep Peter alive with his terrifyingly rapid change in condition, he him on ice. This decision comes to haunt him in the future.
Rule 1. Peter should not initially know Harry.
Rule 2. Someone outside of Norman and his Oscorp employees need to find out about him.
Rule 3. Peter needs somebody to bond with, be it the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, an Avenger, a villain, just someone to bond with.
